“food”
good breakfast, small room, simple furnishing
“Good value & location”
We were very satisfied with the hotel itself and it's location within walking distance to most attractions and lots of restaurants. Only complaint was the current metro construction right in front of the hotel, making it hard to get to from some directions. Fortunately, the windows blocked most of the construction noise. We would definitely go back there again.
“Nice place to stay in Budapest”
The hotel is well located in the Pest side of the city near all the activity. The rooms are very nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is constuction going on outside the hotel which made access a bit difficult.
“small room”
One of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in. Glad there was only two of us sharing it. Other than that, the room was clean, well appointed, modern, as was the lobby area. The pool was nothing specail, and a bit of a complex journey to find in the neighbouring building. The location of the hotel is probably its best asset. For the price, overall pretty good.
“Comfortable and convenient.”
Nice rooms and very convenient location. A subway entrance is at the base of the hotel, and the Great Market and Vaci Utca are a five minute walk away. Only draw back is lot's of construction in Calvin Square. Not noisy, but not very nice to look at.
“Mecure Korona Budapest”
Hotel is comfortable but beware - they will try to rob you of $28USD a day for Internet service. Use the free computers in the lobby. This is the highest charge I have ever seen at a hotel!! And, the streets are torn up around the hotel - not a problem unless you have a car. Convenient to the subway - out the front door and down the steps. Excellent pool and sauna facilities as well.
“O.K.”
I would not consider this hotel a 4 star one because the rooms are indeed very small but overall confortable stay; staff very helpful and frendly- no language barrier!; location is ideal as you can walk or take the subway and other public transportation wright off in front of the hotel; the "spa" facilies, namely the pool and the masage area small and primitive. I didn't eat but the breakfast at the hotel but the 11 euros per person where worth!
“great stay”
service exceptional, very friendly, excellent buffet breakfast. Room air conditioner did not work - but it was cool and rainy.
“Good Place, Bad Timing”
Hotel was great but don't go during a national holiday! However, the main celebration was right around the corner was something to see ;).
