“SO much better than a hotel”

I can recommend this apartment highly, especially as an alternative to a hotel and a chance to see/stay inside a traditional Budapest apartment block. The Parisien Apartment is located in District 5, literally around the corner from the iconic Parliament building and Kossuth ter metro station (as well as being 5-10 minutes walk from Arany Janos metro, for the blue line). District 5 is very quiet at night, important for light sleepers. Inside, the apartment is simply decorated and furnished, with a useful kitchen. The ceilings are astonishingly high though the apartment is always warm enough. Edward, the host, was easy to contact and arranged my check-in and check-out around my plans. Next time I'm in Budapest, I know where I'm staying!
