Lovely hotel. We had a room for three. The bed settee was adequate for a child. Room was on the small side but had everything we needed. Nespresso coffee maker in the room and complementary water. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel is close to bus, train and tram routes, which makes exploring the city from easy.

My stay was good, only giving it 4 star because of the noise and my room not being ready when I arrived. Had to wait for house keeping to get the room ready. Mind you, I arrived at 9pm. The staff when cleaning in the morning are quite noisy also. Then at night, other guests are noisy also so didn’t get much sleep. In general the hotel is quite nice, breakfast has a few variety and okay. Would stay here again hopefully next time it would be quieter.

The hotel was amazing however the front desk staff were very robotic very cold. Like they had a exact script to follow Hotel was very nice very close to almost every thing dinner dancing night life and a 8 min walk to train station. which was very handy

Great hotel with room for improvement in F&B
Nice clean hotel. Room/shower was tastefully decorated, comforatable, clean and cozy. Hotel staff were kind and courteous. F&B service needs to improve. Lots of food in the b'fast buffet but lacking quality and presentation. Coffee was weak and not hot and water for tea came from the coffee machine at low temperature so there is no way to have decent brew! Kindly improve on this.

Great hotel, bad restaurant
I stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed. The hotel is very clean, has great facilities and lots of common space. It was all going so well, until I took a meal at the restaurant upon checking out, and it was very bad. I couldn't eat any of it. I felt obliged to say something when it came to paying as I had barely touched the food, and the waiter couldn't care less. Nor could the reception staff when I mentioned it. Bottom line: definitely stay here, but avoid eating at the restaurant at all costs

I am extremely pleased. I've traveled to 36 countries and lived in five and must say this hotel exceeds my needs and desires yet for an extremely reasonable rate. I am a 65-year-old female who drove alone into Budapest from Germany. The sitting area is great! Two comfortable chairs with a table you can work from or eat from at the right height. The TV is huge with all the information you need for the hotel from room service to laundry, transportation, maps, etc. The coffee/tea station is super. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is well appointed, and nicely sized with a large deep tub with an excellent shower head and strong water pressure. Parking [P] was a breeze. Enter from the very small one-way street from the rear of the hotel. You'll see a small [P] for underground parking. Take the Elevator to the ground [0/E] floor to reception and you're in your beautiful room right away. The staircase is magnificent. Thanks for a great stay! E. Shoemaker

Wonderful stay for four nights! Rooms are a little small, but nicely designed, with a fridge (no minibar in ours), coffee maker, a huge TV at the end of a comfy bed and a round table with two chairs in the corner for hanging. The tv is wired for sound in the bathroom so you can listen to your own connected device or whatever's on tv. The linens were fresh and high-end. The lighting in the bathroom was flattering, instead of that fluorescent, scary situation. The common rooms downstairs off the lobby were very nice and welcoming to those who needed to work. Great cakes in the cafe. I recommend the Esterhazy if you like walnut. Didn't have breakfast there, so can't speak to that. The only reason that I didn't give the hotel a perfect mark is that the shower, although beautiful/luxurious, needed some attention as there was some mildew and it didn't drain properly. Overall, though, wonderful hotel and will stay there again!

Horrible stay
Horrendous stay. Specifically made request in writing & while checking in for a quiet room. Needed a solid rest. Janus placed me on second floor, directly above a bar. I didn’t realize until night that the street below was filled with loud drunks all night. Already unpacked and didn’t have energy to change rooms. Only got 3 hours of sleep. This hotel must give hotels.com bookings the worst rooms intentionally, and this was completely unacceptable!

An oasis of cool and calm in an exciting city
Our experience was excellent, right from the arrival when we were able to access our room at midday to helping to restore our Radisson membership and organising a taxi at 4am on the day we left. We appreciated the coffee in our room and breakfast was very nice. Thank you.

For our stay the location and cost we’re crucial. And this hotel provided great quality and has a great location. We had a room on the upper floors and that kept out most of the street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were better than some 5 star hotels. A taxi can pull right up to the front door and the public transportation is two minutes away. To improve we would suggest improving the evening restaurant situation. The menu is very limited and overpriced. You are forced to dine elsewhere and there are few good restaurants within easy walking distance.
