“My husbands suprise birthday retreat in Budapest”

We had a wonderful weekend break in the sofitel. I asked for a room with a view of the river danube and was given one on the 6th floor, the view was magnificent. We used the swimming pool and sauna every morning and found this a very relaxing way to start the day sight seeing.The staff were very welcoming friendly and helpful. Could not faul this hotel at all. We visited the xmas markets and tried the local foods. The hotel was situated in a perfect location for spending time in both the buda and pestt side of hte city.

The Hotel is located in an excellent location and if you manage to book a room on the right side you will have a breath taking view as well. The service was really good and the people really kind. I found some services expensive though. The spa facilites where satisfying.

Very helpful staff. As my friend suffered with severe back ache, the managress on duty gave her so much personal attention and did her best to make her comfortable which was much appreciated.Overall it was very good experience.

“Sofitel Chain Bridge - Superb all round.”

This is a great hotel in a great location. The luxury rooms have a breathtaking view over the Danube and over to the castle. Stunning. Great service from reception staff and the room was in superb condition. The comfort of the Sofitel bed is legendary.

“Superb hotel, superb location, superb stay !!”

From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were impressed with this hotel. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a junior suite which was great as there were 3 of us in the room. The room itself was furnished to a very high standard with a Nespresso machine, free wi-fi, Hermes toiletries and great views of the Chain Bridge. In addition, we forgot our travel adaptor and the hotel were able to supply one to us free of charge. The Paris Budapest bar is great, and the cocktails were some of the best we had whilst in Budapest. Overall, i would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again when we next visit.

“Excellent experience with great customer service”

We received a very warm welcome and told we were selected as "guests of the day". We were given a room upgrade (overlooking the Danube & the Chain Bridge). The room and the view couldn't have been nicer. The decor was good and the bed so comfy with good quality bedlinen - with down filled duvet & pillows. As we were "guests of the day", we also had use of the executive lounge - for breakfast, light dinner, wine, champagne, beer etc. at no extra cost. In addition a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room. The staff looked after us very well without being intrusive and we were made to feel like special guests. Judi was happy to help with information such as restaurants, live music, transport etc. The hotel was very well situated for walking to the sites and very close to a tram stop. The hotel is very stylish and regardless of the extras we received, this was a lovely hotel to stay in and the staff were superb. Their customer service was excellent. We had a lovely time in Budapest.

Great view of Budapest and the river from the 3rd floor and above. Very comfortable. Convenient to major sites. Highly recommend.

We loved the Sofitel in Budapest. The hotel is beautiful and the staff extemely helpful (especially Ildiko). We arrived early and everyone was very accomodating. They even upgraded our room to a junior suite including a living area and a small kitchen. The pool and sauna were a welcome retreat after a long day of visiting sites. We had been in Prague and Berlin prior to arriving in Budapest, and the Sofitel was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in. It didn't hurt that we loved the city of Budapest.

“Super Hotel & will back again!!”

Very nice hotel & location is good too!! Lots of nice resteruant nearby even the resteruant@ hotel is very good too!!. Only 1 little downside is I need to kept asking the frontdesk for tea/coffee, towl, toiletries... etc. as they forgot the refill them. The frontdesk are VERY helpful & delivery goods in no time!! All staffs are very nice & welcoming. I got a very nice view from my room & we do enjoy staying there!!
