Very clean hotel. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Great location, whether walking or public tranport. Lots of food places within easy walking distance and a great coffee shop within a few minutes.

The hotel is in a brilliant location, walking distance from everything you could need on the Pest side of the city and a few minutes walk from the metro. Brand new hotel so very clean and fresh. Excellent if you just want a basic place to crash in an excellent location.

“Excellent value for money”

Had a lovely trip to Budapest. The Star Inn was in a great, central location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to all the major tourist sites from the front door. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room itself was small and basic but exceptionally clean with everything we needed (there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but this is standard for European cities). Would certainly stay here again and would recommend this hotel for good value and good location.

Star Inn made my trip to Budapest! Their staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was very clean, smoke-free, comfortable, inexpensive, and ideally located near major attractions or transportation to them. Hotel staff was extremely helpful in setting up local tours and providing easy directions. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. One of the best I've found in Europe.

“Home from Home.”

This Hotel is truly comfortable. The staff are kind, well versed in many languages and helpful at all times. nothing is too much trouble. Security for guests is second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any traveller. I shall return!

“Good Value”

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. But the hallway smelled like an auto repair shop because there's one right next to the hotel. Free computer and internet in the lobby. Easy access to public transit. Safe neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and stores near by. When we checked in, the front desk guy tried to sell us a tour package, and got a little miffed that we declined his offer. But overall, we had a good time.

Very nice and clean hotel and within walking distance to most of Budapests' attractions.. will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Breakfast not recommended as price of 9 euro isn't worth it.. loads of cafes and coffee shops nearby..
