“Always a pleasure. . . .”

I visit Salida several times each year, and I always stay at the Days Inn. This hotel is conveniently located and is the cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed and priced very reasonably. The motel is owner-managed, and the care given to the building and surrounding grounds is amazing for a chain motel. There are gardens, art work, and friendly people all about. The continental breakfast is excellent. In addition, the owners are friendly and outgoing and serve as tour guides for those guests who need information about local attractions, including hiking, fishing, and seasonal mushroom picking! The parking lot is large and can accommodate trailers and large vehicles with ease. I highly recommend you give this hotel a try if you stay in Salida.

Great experience! Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. Beautiful lobby and surroundings. Very comfortable room and beautiful furnishings and decorations. Very pleased and will return.

“The Best Place to Stay in Salida, CO”

We thought this was a wonderful little Inn. We had to leave early and didn't get to sample the breakfast; however, the beds were great and the room very, very clean. We will definitely come back to this Days Inn in Salida.

“Will stay again”

Thought the hotel was very nice and the stencil work in the rooms added a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was simple but well stocked. However, I was disappointed to not have a pool or hot tub. The reviews had said there was one and it was either gone or non existent. Do be sure to make reservations, especially during fall viewing season.

“Good hotel, great little city to visit”

The hotel is family owned and staffed. At check in we asked for a room with a refrigerator and the staff member immediately tried to find us a room with one. The rooms were good sized and clean. The bed comfortable. My only negative comment is that breakfast is really basic. No frills. That being said, this is a great place to stay. We stayed four nights.

Everything was great! I loved the inn keepers...very personable and accommodating. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the continental breakfast had a nice variety of items to choose from. I also loved all the handcrafted woodwork done by the owner himself. I would say this is the best hotel for the price, comfort, and cleanliness.

The Salida, CO Days Inn is a good choice for a few nights' stay in the Salida area. Comfortable, clean and quiet rooms, friendly and efficient staff.

“New favorite in salida”

This was a comfortable and clean hotel, conveniently located. There are mural paintings which serve to customize the rooms and make the lobby area have personality befitting an entry to the lovely Rocky Mountains. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have found!

“Colorado with a Contiental Flair”

This Days Inn is probably many years old, but the Polish Family owners (?) put a lot of work into the facility to update it and make it over. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the lobby included waffles, bagels, oatmeal, boiled eggs, fruit, juices, and more. The family is very friendly and helpful and make it very welcoming. I would be very happy to return. Salida, CO residents as a whole were very happy and friendly, it made you want to extend your stay.

“Would go back again!!!!”

After traveling for 20 hours with 3 horses and making our delivery of horse we were exhausted. We got to the hotel and to our surprise the hotel was fabulous! The owners were super sweet people made sure you had everything you needed! Rooms were clean! Lovely view of the mountains! Nice gardens and hot tub! Highly recommended!!!! If we every make it through there again we will defenitly stay there again!!!!
