“Great place to stay.”

The only problem was that AC didn't work & the bathroom door didn't lock.. Overall this lodge was very beautiful & I would stay here again, not to mention how friendly & helpful the staff was.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owners work tirelessy to make everything nice and they really succeed. I would highly recommend this hotel and the city of Salida as a place to say.

“Large spacious clean room”

Very spacious room. Mattress was ok. The location was great. The breakfast was not so great, The hotel is kept very clean. I would stay there again. We did go in the hot tub, and it was nice. The bathroom counter top and shower heads seemed to be made for a much shorter person than me. I am 5' 8" and I had to squat down, in the shower, to wash the shampoo out of my hair.

“Great budget motel”

At first look, we were underwhelmed by this hotel. However, the longer we stayed (we stayed two nights), the more we liked it. It does have the feel/look of a 1970's/1980's motel. However, it is the cleanest motel (or hotel) I think I've ever stayed in. The bed was quite comfortable, and the owners were friendly and went out of their way to help us. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a budget-conscious traveler who is looking for a clean, all-around pleasant place to stay. One caveat, when they say they don't allow pets, they mean that. It was the first question we were asked. With how clean the place is, I understand why they don't want pets in the rooms.

“Silver Ridge Lodge”

The Silver Ridge Lodge is a great hotel for our ski vacations to Monarch Mountain. The rooms are VERY clean and the owners are wonderful. The rooms have a microwave and a fridge so it's very handy for our family to pack lunches for the weekend. The breakfast in the morning is great with a wide assortment of foods to choose from. We will be be back for sure!

“Nice motel, good location, would stay again!”

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The owners take pride in this older Motor lodge and you can tell. The grounds are very nice and the beds were the most comfortable we had during a weeklong Colorado trip. Continental breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but enough to get you going. We rode our bicycles from hotel to the downtown Salida area, maybe 10 minutes. Salida is such a cool little town and we will be back and stay at the Silver Ridge.
