“Buenaventura - Not my first, second, third, etc... choice”

There are many other places to go in Colombia which are nice like San Andres, Santa Marta, etc. The only reason we went here was that the other location were fully booked and that we wanted to know the place where my wifes mother was born. We had fun in Buenaventura but it is not a holiday destination. The hotel was good and has a lot of history. Basically you only have two hotels here and this one was reasonably priced. The swimming pool was big, you have a view of the ocean or bay as well.
