I was, in the past a great client- the property is run down- the elegance and service is now of a 3 star hotel- very disappointed! Will not return!

I loved the hotel, staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Our flight arrived at 8:30 am and we received an early check in without even asking. And again allowed a late checkout. While BA can be unsafe I never felt that in the Recoleta neighborhood. I highly recommend this hotel.

Best in Buenos Aires!!
I stayed at the Alvear twice on my recent trip, the first time for 3 nights and then for 1 night. I stayed in a suite and a junior suite and everything about my stay was fabulous. The service is wonderful, the concierge gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The breakfast area is absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest I have had at a hotel. The rooms have the charm of an old grand hotel whilst being in excellent condition, clean, spacious and well appointed tech-wise. The rooftop bar is a must for a pre dinner cocktail. The location of the hotel is within easy reach of Palermo by car, Teatro Colon, san telmo etc etc I cannot wait to go back!!

Stepping into Opulence
Arrived at Alvear Palace at 4:00 and our room was not ready. To their credit, they upgraded us to a beautiful Jr. Suite. The hotel is a true gem in a wonderful location. It has a wonderful feel for glamour of the past and superbly maintained. Staff does everything in their power to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Our only regret is our three night stay was too short.

World Class Service
We stayed for a 3 night long weekend and got one of the Suites on the upper floors. The service was just extraordinary each step of the way. Everyone greets you with a smile and engages with you. They took care of all our needs with a smile. Room was clean and spacious for a big city hotel. Its our go to place in Buenos Aires!

Spectacular hotel in one of the best locations in Buenos Aires. Easy access to all places of interest. Staff are attentive without being overbearing and the restaurants and bars are well stocked. There are about three or four luxury hotels in the city and this is one of them.
