“my home in BA”

Very nice staff in a secure hotel. Nice linens & very clean rooms. Breakfast was very good. The coffee was too weak for my taste & often warm. I shared a triple room with my mom & sister. We were all very comfortable during our 9 day stay in BA. Thank you so much to Hotel Bel Air Buenos Aires!

“Beautiful Buenos Aires Hotel”

Hotel was very clean, in a GREAT location for walking around Buenos Aires and is on a quiet back street, so it is very tranquil in the evening. Close to lots of nice shopping and restaurants. Breakfast buffet had lots of different items but the eggs were a little cold one morning. Hotel staff knowledgable and helpful but could have been a little more friendly. No coffee maker in room and no room service (and no cafes open) before 7AM. So if you want your coffee before 7, stay elsewhere! Otherwise, if you are on vacation and drink your coffee after 7, this is a beautiful, clean, quiet hotel in a great location with a helpful English speaking staff.

“Our new favorite!”

Rooms are small but very adequate. When we wanted to book extra nights, they said go thru Expedia so it would be less expensive!! Great neighborhood, safe and we walked almost everywhere comfortably. Great breakfast. Wonderful neighborhood park where we actually went to relax and do some people watching on more than one occasion. This was a great trip for us and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Our only suggestion is since they already offer a business center with computers, there is no reason to charge for WiFi access.

“Good place to stay”

The Bel-Air hotel is nice, clean, darling hotel near the upscale neighborhood of the town (Recoleta). I was able to get a pretty good deal from Expedia, compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood. The best part of the hotel is its cleaniness and location. I feel very clean and comfortable. It is convenient -- walking distance to shops and places. The buffet breakfast is satisfactory. Concierge is very helpful. There are 2 computers with internet connection on the first floor for your free use. It is not walking distance to the subway, but we got around with Taxi just fine. The room is on the small side, but I got used to it.

“Perfect location”

Hotel Bel Air was a great find on Expedia. As we pulled up to the curb the taxi driver told us that this was a very nice hotel -- he was right. The staff was excellent, the room well-appointed, and the location can't be beat. The front desk held our bags on our last day in the city and arranged for our taxi back to the airport. Buenos Aires is a wonderful city that we'll visit again.

The hotel is not far from the obelisco which is the center of the city. If you are one of those who dont mind 10-15 minutes (depends how fast u walk) i think is great, even if you do taxis arent expensive and is not far. In addition you are away from the noise and night life when you want to rest. Their breakfast is slightly better than the average included cheap buffet you usually find. The staff is very courteous and our room was clean. I stayed at another hotel for the same price an extra night due to a canceled flight and I couldn't avoid comparing it. The part i didnt like much is that you have to pay 40 pesos for 24 hrs of wifi, there is also free access dowinstairs but i prefer my beloved iPhone! Tip: In Argentina there is a lot of free wifi at stores and restaurants, if locked many times they would give u the pw for free but sometimes the connection is not as great, depends on the place. If you go out watch out, these people remind me of my youth in Mexico where is almost stupid to step the clubs before midnight and they btw call them boliches what actually means bowling but has nothing to do with it. In general you can use dollars as easy as pesos BUT dont get them too wrinkle cause they may not want them. If you speak Spanish try their "broadway" I saw Chicago and the play was really good actually. Also try their pizza places, there is tons and is cheap, also try a steak and wine of course. Oh wait, back to the hotel, yes, its good, I recommend it and would go back!

“Loved This Hotel”

I loved this hotel...The staff was freindly the location was beautiful..The hotel itself was clean and very nice..cannot say enough nice things about Bel Air Hotel..
