“Modern Simplicity”

The feel of this hotel and especially the room was almost Scandinavian in its simplicity. It had a modern flat screen TV mounted on the wall, but otherwise there was nothing on the wall at all. It was well taken care of and things appeared new. It is less than 50 yards from the 9th of July Blvd, and the Obelisk and there are many decent restaurants nearby. But it was also next door to a female impersonator theater and the fact that the front door is always locked and tended by a doorman left me wondering.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Upon entering, I found the lobby to be quite charming and there was a wonderful aroma of flowers throughout. There are young men to open and close the door at all times. Checking in was a breeze and it was nice of them to check in early as well. The men at the front desk did pretty well with english and I didn't have to struggle much with my spanish. The room was very spacious and had incredible amenities. There was a sitting room, refrigerator, mini-bar, microwave, sink with drinking glasses, and toiletries! The bathroom had a toilet, bidet, and shower. The room had it's own AC unit, which was wonderful, considering how hot Buenos Aires gets. There was also a TV and a boom box. My friend called down to the front desk numerous times to ask for things (iron, ironing board, extra towels) and they were happy to oblige. They'd forget a few times, but we'd call them and remind them and there wasn't an issue. The breakfast buffet was awesome! There were eggs, meats, fruit, pastries, coffee, and juices. The location is ideal, in the heart of downtown and really safe. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We will stay here again. Clean, nicely updated, with excellent service. Almost all the stay spoke English. They were helpful with all arrangements we needed; transportation, directions, etc. A great location 1/2 block from the Obelisco, which makes it easy to find while walking. In a relatively safe area with lots of pedestrian traffic.

“"BROADWAY "anyone??”

we were NOT looking for a Marriot /Hyatt/Hilton but a clean pleasant hotel! We certainly got exactly what we wanted and some! The Staff were all absolutely what we needed, always ready with a smile and always ready to help with answering our questions and we had many.We stayed 5 days and couldn't have been happier!!!

“great position”

We stayed the last 2 weeks of September. The suite we had was large and comfortable. However the bathroom was small, it did have a bath tub so we were happy with that. We had to use the heating which was excellent and individually controlled. The room was thoroughly serviced everyday and extremely clean. The breakfast offered was ample and had a wide selection to choose from. The staff on the front desk spoke english but were not overly friendly, but did their job efficiently none the less. It is in the heart of BA and we walked everywhere - to many museums, San telmo markets, shopping streets and plaza. We were extremely happy with the position. Taxis are cheap so if we wanted to go to Palermo we just caught a cab. However a couple of things that they claim are not accurate. I did not see a Bar, it is nowhere near a beach, there was no tea/coffee making facilities. We had booked a kitchenette and that consisted of a small fridge, a microwave, 2 water glasses and 2 cups and saucers. On request they did give us 2 knives and forks, 2 dinner plates and 2 wine glasses. I did ask for an electric kettle but was told there wasnt any. We had to use the microwave to boil water. We were frustrated about this at first but there were many restaurants all around us and food was very cheap so in the end it worked out fine. Overall Excellent value for money.

“Buenos Aires Great location very centrally located”

Great location, clean hotel, average breakfast selection. Free internet access. The hotel is on a very busy street, so it is quite noisy in the rooms, it would have been nice if the windows were double paned to reduce the noise. Also the ventilation system was only heat, no fan so the room being very hot. If we opened the window it became very noisy but that was the only way to cool down the stuffy room. Guest service was good, front desk staff very helpful and pleasant, all spoke english and made good recommendations for places to eat. Great location - easy to get around very centrally located.

We will stay here again. The rooms are modern, clean & nicely updated, with excellent service. Almost all the stay spoke English. great location! 1/2 block from the Obelisco, which makes it easy to find while walking, 5 block from Florid street ( walk street, a lots of store and gift shop )Supermarket at cross street.

“Nice modern hotel”

I liked this hotel. It was located within 10 mins walk to Plaza mayo and 10 to 15 mins walks to other points of interest like the opera house. The area can be a bit shady at night, if I was traveling alone I would be careful at night. The hotel itself is very very modern and sleek. The breakfast in the morning was pretty decent as well.
