Excellent hotel in a great neighborhood.Posted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Wireless access in room. Notebook can fit in room safe.
Location: Great location. Within walking distance of Recoleta Cemetery and other sites.
I stayed in this hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. It is an excellent hotel that I would highly recommend to others.

Perfect Boutique Hotel in Buenos AiresPosted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Small, comfortable, great location
Location: Right near the cemetery where Eva Peron was buried. Near nice cafes, stores, even a mall & movie theatre if you want to feel like a real local.
Love the location, the service, the helpful staff, (especially Nestor the Bartender). Recoleta is a great location to walk to all the charming neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Stayed 5 nights, couldn't have been better.

Beautiful neighborhood, great staff, nice roomPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Location, room condition, staff.
Cons: Get rid of the restaurant.
Location: Location is wonderful. See above.
We stayed for 4 days in a 2-room mini-suite, which was perfect. The suite was exceptionally clean, elegant, and comfortable. All members of the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downsides: our room had a balcony, but there's no way you'd want to use it because it faced the walls of three buildings and an alley, and not the street (nor did there appear to be any sun. I don't even know why they bothered to HAVE a balcony for this room. Second, the "health club" is in the basement, required that you be let in by a staff member, consisted of only a couple of machines, and smelled like sketchy kitchen smells. Finally, skip the restaurant entirely (except for the breakfast bar, which was okay but nothing special.) The Indian food was not even remotely Indian, and in fact was pretty bad. There's a reason no one was in there! They should just close the restaurant - there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, within walking distance. The hotel is only 3 blocks from the cemetery where Eva Peron is buried and where there is an enormous craft fair on weekends. Except for the minor things, the hotel itself was wonderful.

Good LocationPosted Dec 29, 2013
Pros: Good location for shopping!
Cons: Customer service is very mixed depending on who you interact with (from great to poor!!)
Location: Great shopping, food!
I travel to BA often however this was my first time at CasaSur Art Hotel. This hotel is average, at best. I checked into the hotel, unpacked and left the hotel for a great start of my vacation. Upon returning to CasaSur, I was informed that there was a mistake and I was assigned the incorrect room. I was requested to repack and move rooms!! This is not the customer service you receive in a 4 star hotel!! Eventually we worked things out and after MANY conversations, we did not have to move rooms. Some of the staff are great, others were not client focused. In the end, this is a nice hotel, good location, small rooms and below average (3-4 star) customer service. Many great hotels in BA with good locations. I will not choose CaseSur on my next BA trip - there are many better choices.

Perfect ChoicePosted Nov 23, 2013
Casa Sur was perfect in every way for our one-week visit to BA. Welcoming and helpful staff at every turn. Great location, making BA feel gentler and more accessible. Rooms are clean and well designed, and the setting is relatively quiet for an urban hotel. It's a tremendous value.

Beautiful little hotel right in RecoletaPosted Nov 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel did a very good job of treating us luxuriously. They even threw in a free bottle of champagne for our honeymoon! Front desk was very helpful, as was the rest of the staff.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of RecoletaPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: The rooms are beautifully designed and clean. A small bar is located downstairs, and we appreciated the variety of wines offered.
Cons: The spa was a bit lukewarm. Also, the kitchenette could have been slightly better equipped (corkscrew, utensils, etc.)
Location: Recoleta is one of the safest, most beautiful neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. It is located near all the main tourist attractions and restaurants.
My boyfriend and I had a fantastic six-night stay at CasaSur. The hotel staff is top rate. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that they had double upgraded our reservation simply because we were staying for nearly a week. Moreover, the staff gave us "free drink" welcome tickets upon check-in, were always courteous and kind, helped us make dinner reservations and call taxis, and were attentive to our every need throughout the week. Because the hotel is small, the staff makes a real effort to ensure that guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. We couldn't have been happier with the staff.

Best choise in Recoleta and Buenos AiresPosted Sep 14, 2013
Cons: Breakfast maybe.
Location: Great location, recoleta cementery, Callao, Buenos Aires design, city center, recoleta mall, great restaurants and stores.
We spend 9 night in total and each of them best that the past, great location, easy to walk around nice places to eat and shop, the best is the people, makes you feel like a rock star, all time asking what the can do for you and with a solution for every question you have. The rooms are perfect plenty of space for luggages and your normal stuff . If I come back again to Buenos Aires will be my choice for sure.
