“PERFECT LOCATION. RIGHT ON TOP OF FLORIDA STREET”

This must be the best location in the whole of Buenos Aires! the staff at this hotel treat you like family, this is a home from home. They direct you to the best restaurants, and are extremely helpful. I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!

Florida Street is tops. Also do yourself a favour and visit New Brighton Restaurant on Sarmiento Street.Here you can enjoy olde worlde BA. Wood panelled room, with huge dominating bar. Lots of locals around having normal talks. No cellphone walkers and talkers in this city, they know how to talk to visible people!!! Can also recommend going to Havanna Coffee shop, only place to drink real coffee, and try a submarine, hot choc! Same price as coffee! Also visit Tortoni, oldest coffee shop in BA. They have a very good tango show for low prices. U dont have to put up with a long show and bad dinner and drinks to see tango show. A walk up Florida street between 6 and 9 pm will also allow you to see traditional tango show for free!! Recoletta area also tops for people watching. Treat yourself to a good value lunch but expensive at Alvear Palace Hotel .

“Excelent Location and Hotel Service”

An excelent location to a great hotel service. However, it was really old and has more than 60 years, it was comfortable and comfort of the room was OK. In Overall it was clean and something to highlight is the surroundings of the hotel. They were repairing the hotel, so we suffered some changes to our real reservation.

“Location Location Location”

Start each day with full buffet breakfast including sparkling wine; all arranged to perfection including white tablecloths. The hotel is located just steps from the walking street Calle Florida and Galleria Pacifica so centrally located to reach all the sights with ease. Plus the hotel staff are superb.

“Best place to stay to shop in Florida street”

The internet in the room doesn't work. They have a special place called business center with computers, printers and high speed internet included. There is no indoor pool, but the pool is hearing. The location is perfect to visit the heart of the City. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommended the hotel.

To eat: Palermo ( la cabreira restaurant), Puerto Madeiro ( Cabana las lilas). To shop: Florida Street To dance and go out: Palermo Charming: Recoleta Tango: Esquina Carlos Gardel e Senhor Tango. Don't fly with Aerolineas Argentinas - they are frequently late and the fights cancel many times. The staff are not well prepared to help you. Choose another air company to go. And the best place to exchange money is on the Banco de La Nacion Argentina on Ezeiza Airport.

“Very good hotel, best location, can't wait to go back!!!”

The hotel location can't be best, very good service, the only problem I found the bed is a little smoll.

“I didn't know this type of hotel still existed!”

We just came back from our second stay at the Claridge hotel. This is by far, the best value for money hotel in which we have stayed in the last five years. Just to give some clear examples, the rooms are really clean, room service is available at all times, people are super nice (the concierge will hire anything at 2am!) and when you arrive it feels like they are expecting you. The breakfast is quite good and includes complimentary sparkling wine, the bar is really nice (probably built around the 1940s it has all the glamour from those days) and the service that you get is amazing. The lady at the reception offered to go online to do the check-in for us, and when we came back from shopping our boarding passes were waiting for us at our room! In addition the hotel is right next to the Calle Florida with great shopping and lots of nearby dinning options. Again, great location! Fernanda

“Bathroom Too Small !”

The location of the hotel is great but the room was quite small..the bathroom was very small that you can not make a real 360 turn without touching anything:) It was our honeymoon and i think that the hotel management could make us a favor and maybe give a bigger room..but anyway, in overall, the housekeeping, the breakfast and the reception staff were good.. By the way, we have done our check out early than expected and the hotel accepted to pay us back the remaning days which is very polite and kind thing to do! So, the hotel is recommended for the location and ethical values but not for comfort...
