“VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY!”

A very nice hotel! Good breakfast, good room, good place to stay, because is close by everything. There is a supermarket next door. You should use a cab because is cheap to go to the best restaurants.

“Great new hotel in great location”

The Dazzler San Telmo was everything I hoped it would be! It had only opened just 2 weeks before my stay so everything was still shiny and new. The room was super comfortable and modern. The hotel is located between San Telmo and the Microdistrict so it is easy walking distance to several popular historic destinations. The only negative comment I have was the lack of knowledge by the hotel staff. Let me first acknowledge that they were very friendly and were generally very very helpful. However, their knowledge of the neighborhood around the hotel is very limited. This should improve in time since it is a new hotel and everyone needs time to learn but I would recommend that any tourist travelers planning to stay here in the next couple of months should bring a trusty guide book with them.

Very nice place, great service, reasonable mini-bar and room service pricing, and helpful staff. They booked restaurants for us and recommended places to go. The breakfast was a highlight!

The hotel is really nice, the bedroom was bigger than we expected. It is nicely located near to everything in downtown Buenos Aires. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Dazzler. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful (especially at the Front Desk). The room we stayed in was very comfortable; it resembled a NY studio more so than a hotel room. The hotel has a fresh and trendy look and is very well situated just within a few short blocks from the Avenida 9 de Julio. Great place to stay, we´ll definitely stay there again!

“Pathetic Internet Service, Dumb Design”

The hotel is new, conveniently located, and relatively quiet compared to others I have stayed at in Buenos Aires. We requested an early check in after an overnight flight and were not able to get a room until 2:00 p.m. because they were completely booked the night before. This was a bummer, but tolerable. Whoever designed the bathroom must have flunked design school. It looks great but is idiotic and not functional. You have to get inside the shower to turn on the water and get soaked in cold water. The glass door does not stay in place and swings around, hitting you when you are in the shower and then soaking the floor when it goes the other way. You cannot get into the bathroom without doing a Rubic's cube move if someone is in there and it is impossible to get in if someone is sitting on the toilet. The internet service was virtually nonexistent. I'm not sure why they bothered saying they offer high speed. My email would keep crashing trying to download a three meg file. The outgoing email would crash and literally take a minute or more to send one silly short text message. The location is good and the room is comfortable. I would not go back simply because of the lack of real internet service and a stupidly designed bathroom. The breakfast is fairly basic. The pool hours were restrictive and wiring and other undone construction is still strewn around the upper pool--which is tiny by the way. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

“Unattractive neighborhood and minimal.”

This was nice a nice enough hotel but terribly situated. Very out of the way and in an unattractive neighborhood.. The room was clean but very minimal. .

“Good hotel to stay! But not perfect!”

It's quite hard to decide which hotel to stay anywhere specially when decision is made by reviews. I know, it's perfect when we can get information from people who lived the experience. But, each one of us have different perspectives about things. So, probably, the best thing to do is list as many information we can and try to be impartial all the time. Hope to pass some good information. Location: Bear in mind that if you go to BA you're gonna walk a lot! Dazzler is located in San Telmo so thats your starting point. The neighbourhood is not that attractive but you are 2 blocks away from a Metro station (@ 9 de Julio), and 3 blocks from Av de Mayo. Also, nearly 600m from Plaza de Mayo. There's a Carrefour Express next door. Don't expect to find many restaurants around the hotel. Probably, the closest one (and good) is at Chile with Peru, 6 blocks away (Parrilla Del Plata). Room: Around 20m2, with a king bed, 32" LCD TV, work desk, 2 seat sofa, short table and a hidden minibar. The room has a wooden floor. Tiny bathroom. First impression was good. The room was big and clean. On the other hand, the bathroom was small. You will get the floor quite wet after a shower. Breakfast: Average. Continental with a bitter orange juice and an undrinkable coffee. Staff: Ok. Doing their jobs. Overall, Dazzler San Telmo is a very good hotel for the price we pay.
