Great hotel in Palermo Soho.

Hotel Costa Rica is a lovely boutique hotel on a redeveloped old house. Service was great and the place is beautiful. Location is quite good, just a couple of blocks away from restaurants and other shops. Overall great hotel.

Good, clean and inexpensive accommodation

Posted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean, attractive, and comfortable. The staff just terrific. The room was sparse in terms of extra furniture---just a bedside table and luggage rack and wardrobe, but, for example, no armchair. But if you want to spend a lot of time in your room, stay at a hotel chain with all the mod cons and room service. Location was fine, nice area, very walkable, Subte train station (D line, Ortiz) about six blocks. Excellent choice of restaurants surround the hotel. Laundry, supermarkets, etc all a block away.

Pros: Well located,
Cons: Rooms, a little bit bigger in size. They gave us a room 3 floors up by stairs! A long climb!
Location: Lots of pubs, cafes, restaurants, designer shops, some book stores too
Good location in Palermo Viejo neighbourhood. Employees are very polite and helpful. Everything is very clean and tidy. I would recommend to everyone this place

Chic hotel

Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Clean, good location close to many things, close to aeroparque airport, bathroom was awesome.
Cons: Room four had wi if in room so ask for that room because if not you have to go downstairs.
Location: Close to recoleta, retiro, subte about a five minute walk.
Very pleased with our stay, staff was welcoming, and gave us many tips. Location was good about a five minute walk to subte and about a fifteen minute walk to recoleta. Safe neighborhood quiet. Room was really clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom was huge and the water pressure was to die for.

beautiful and comfortable hotel

Pros: The location and the several areas outside the rooms.
Cons: The rooms at the end of corridor on both floors are less comfortable and the wi-fi becomes weak. Try to book the rooms in the front.
Location: Palermo is great for nerdy shopping, local fashion brands and good cafes.
Location is great if you want to enjoy Palermo. A 5 minute walk from the hipsterish area in Palermo Soho. The hotel is quiet and very relaxed. There's a cute patio, a terrace, and a reading room to stay around. It's very warn and not fancy.

Bare essentials

Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
My partner and I stayed in a room with private bathroom (is it technically a wet room?--the shower and toilet were in the same space). The room itself definitely offered bare bones amenities and was small, but cozy and clean. You get what you pay for. The hotel itself has an interesting layout, and the decor had a lot of character. The rooftop patio was my favorite part--great place to take a nap or have an outdoor lunch on a warm day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Regarding location, it was easy to get a taxi (about 50-60 pesos to downtown), and the closest subway station was about 8 blocks away. The area is undergoing gentrification, so there was a mix of chic boutiques and cafes within walking distance, mixed with old, run-down buildings. If you want to feel like you are living among the ordinary residents of BA, better to stay here in Palermo than Recoleta or downtown.
