Nice,close to shopping, business, regional airport

Pros: Location & staff... Very proactive, from the maid on the second floor were my room was to the front desk. Servers at the restaurant were excellent!!!
Cons: Food was good, but it could be improved
Location: Sopping centers, business district, Local regional airport, theaters & shows including the world renown Colon Theater and La Recoleta neighborhood

Nice hotel, afordable, near Aeroparque Airport

Pros: affordable, location, service
Stay for one nigth for connecting flight and changing airport. We had covenience store, restaurats and drugstore within a block. Wake up service and taxi was convenient.

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel - clean, updated room, responsive staff (not super friendly, but they effectively address what you need). The walls are a bit thin so you might hear the TV in the room next door, so bring ear plugs. Still, the location, price and the breakfast were excellent. I'd book there again, having been to BA many times.

Good hotel but disengaged receptionists

It is a good hotel in a good neighborhood. But the receptionists have been disappointing. They were disengaged and not friendly at all. Otherwise, the hotel is clean. The buffet breakfast was OK with the basics.

Best: impeccable location. Very convenient walk to many places. Nice full breakfast. Okay: rooms are run down a bit. Also temperature is too warm (but I guess it's typical Buenos Aires). Walls are thin -- can hear noise from next door. Poor: staff is not friendly. Information provided are okay but I feel they are not willing to provide more helpful info on transportation and such. All they seem to work hard on is to sell tango shows and package tour. Overall -- excellent value. I would stay there again!

Pros: Location
Front desk staff were not particularly helpful. The walls were very thin, and there is no carpeting in the room, so every sound carried. But the location is excellent to lots of places we wanted to go, including shopping on Ave. Santa Fe, Recolleta, Centro, and Retiro districts, and the subway to Palermo was only about 4 blocks away.

good location, a few minutes walk to a Subte stop. Good breakfast by Argentinian standards (BF is usually not sumptuous in Argentina), even though the offerings are the same every day. room is rather basic, 3-star standard but definitely not more. Clean enough. Front desk wasn't exactly warm-hearted or welcoming, but professional and allowed me a very early check-in which was very much appreciated after my red-eyes-flight from Bogota. Would stay there again, as the rates are affordable.

Friendliness lacking

While the hotel was in an excellent location, our initial and lasting impression was formed by the less than friendly reception staff. They gave out. Information as if they were doing you a big favour and all the time without a smile. The corridors to the rooms were dark as was the entry to our room. I addition the air conditioning was switched off on two occasions and our rooms were insufferably hot. No iron or ironing board was available in our rooms and no staff were available to press clothes after 5pm. The doors to the rooms and cupboards were all dark stained timber which gave ita very depressing,dated look. On a positive note, the dining area was light and airy and the breakfasts were reasonable.
