Surrounding neighborhood is so terrible, garbages every where

The Hotel itself is OK. but the surrounding neighborhood is so ad that i would not recommend to anyone

I wouldn't bother

I was booked into the Reconquista Luxor and arrived at about 10am after a flight from Chile. I was then told I couldn't check in until 3pm so had to wait 5 hours. when i went back to check in I was told I was actually staying at the Reconquista garden, 4 blocks from where I wanted to be. I got to the reconquista garden and the room was dirty, the area was miles from where I needed to be and it was very noisy, both from the street noise and inside the hotel, mainly the housekeeping staff shouting to each other down the corridor at 8 in the morning. Breakfast was unimpressive and I found the "garden" the hotel was named after to be a small courtyard affair with a few chairs under a fire escape. Would I stay here again? no way.

Great stay...staff had actually arranged for pickup at the AirPark. Although the hotel was being remodeled, we were not inconvenienced in any way and everything was clean and new.

Very nice modern Hotel

We enjoyed our stay @ the Luxor. We had stayed a few days at a well known branded hotel first. The rooms are very modern and very comfortable. The hotel is located in central Buenos Aires which is bustling with people during the week and very very quiet on the weekend. Booking with hotels.com made this a terrific value. We did have one recommendation they should change: The glass on the shower only covered 1/4 of the bath tub which led to a large amount of water all over the bathroom when showering. Also when we checked our bags the last day they temporarily misplaced two of our bags which caused a great deal of anxiety. They however located the bags. We would recommend the hotel tightens the process controls for checked bags. Overall a terrific stay we would highly reccomend.
