“Very Nice Hotel”

I recommend this hotel quite highly. It had very nice rooms with excellent service. The hotel is at the center of many attractions.

“Great hotel and staff, couldn't fault it.”

Staff were brilliant and went out of their way to be of assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. Perhaps the concierge needs to be a bit more up to date on sight seeing times etc as we missed our ferry to Uruguay when we arrived there half an hour before departure...........go at least an hour before! Room very clean. Facilities incl pool gym etc were great. Good choice of restaurants onsite.

The Intercontinental was beautiful and very impressive. The hotel staff were friendly, and provided excellent service. The food in the hotel restaurants / cafes was wonderful and I the wine suggestions perfectly matched. My room was wonderful, and the King size bed a dream. I would definitely stay there again and recomend this hotel.

“Best hotel in B.A.”

I was SO incredibly impressed with this hotel. The location was perfect: it's walking distance from Cafe Tortoni (great Tango show, about 70 pesos) and Plaza de Mayo (where you'll find Casa Rosada and other historic buildings). The staff was very helpful. The conceirge was incredibly knowledgable, and you never had to wait. If there were multiple people waiting to talk to the conceirge, someone else walked over to make sure you wouldn't have to wait long. I needed an official document picked up, and the conceirge stayed on the phone even after I was gone to talk to my contact to set up a meeting time, sent a car to get it picked up, and the document was in my room when I got back that evening. All for around $20 (the cost of sending the car). My first sign that this hotel was great - when I was checking in I noticed a separate check-in line for diplomats, as well as noticing an American Airlines flight attendant checking in next to me. When people who are in B.A. all the time are staying there, you know it's good. The rooms and lobby were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. They even brought us a converter, and most of the outlets were fitted for American electronics as well (pretty typical of Argentinean hotels). This is probably the best hotel experience I've ever had, and I travel quite a bit. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. You will not be disappointed.

“A lifeline”

When we arrived in BA we learned the hotel we had booked through a tour company was still under construction and the hotel company booked us in one of their alternate hotels. Unfortunately, they put us in a 2-star hotel when we had booked a 4-star hotel. 6 hours later and many conversations with the tour company whereby they were only able to book us in something 3 times the original price, I went on Expedia and booked the Intercontinental at 2 times our original price. Confirmation was virtually immediate and we had a flawless check-in. It is a really beautiful hotel with first-class service (except in the breakfast room, which is under-served). We had a spectacular room with a spectacular view and it was much larger than we were anticipating. The location is okay - close to San Telmo and Microcenter, the surrounding neighborhood is not great after dark but taxis are cheap and plentiful, and the subway is very accessible. Not what we planned for our stay in BA, but I would stay there again.

i couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was fantastic in every regard. The staff were friendly and really went out of their way to assist, room was fabulous, brekky awesome, location was great and yes I would not only recommend it but I will be returing.

I have stayed at the Intercontinental four times now and I have not been disappointed not once. The service is beyond friendly and the comfort of the hotel is just so relaxing, you wish you could extend your stay for another week.

“Enjoyable experience”

The hotel met up to the description as posted on its web page. Our stay was pleasant and the staff did all thy could to accommodate our needs. The hotel security was very good but a bit imposing at time. I will recommend a stay at this hotel to both the business and leisure traveler. Hats off to the Intercontinental, good show.

“Best part of Buenos Aires”

This is a beautiful elegant hotel, we would definately stay in this hotel again. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast which was included in our room cost was very nice with plenty of fruits, celeals and hot food to choose from. Our room was a standard hotel room but was a good size and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the location of the hotel as it is within easy walking distance to the city centre and shopping. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel and would recommend it to anyone who may be looking for a great place to stay while in Buenos Aires.
