KER RECOLETA - Great location, but...Posted Sep 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
Grrat location, but the WIFI was not working (weak signal and slow internet), the jacuzzi was dirty!

Fair enoughPosted Sep 17, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel was supposed to be very hype, but it ended quite usual. Definitely a good option, although I think there are others with better price-performance nearby.

Boutique Hotel in RecoletaPosted Sep 2, 2010
The Blue Tree Recoleta is a mid-size boutique hotel in the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires. There are many restaurants in the area and it is near many of the tourist sites. The hotel is centrally located and the area is quite walkable. The hotel has a travel desk that can arrange city tours and other activities. The wireless reception was very spotty. Do not know if it was my location in the hotel or just the wireless service. Make sure to bring a travel adapter with you as well to charge your computer and phone. I would have rated the hotel higher overall if the wireless worked better. As a business traveller, I require the ability to Skype and send e-mails.

Amazing !Posted Apr 8, 2010
The hotel is very nice, but during my stay the smell in the room was not good. Something from bathroom.

A good find in Buenos Aires!Posted Jan 14, 2010
The hotel location is EXCELLENT!!!! on a relatively quiet street, about 4 blocks to the Teatro Colon; also close to a beautiful residential area, and of course to Avenida Santa Fe where you find the best boutiques and book stores in the city (for example, what used to be the Grand Splendid movie theater was transformed into a fabulous bookstore, and the stage was turned into a very nice cafe where you can enjoy lunch, snacks or dinner). Taxis are always passing by, if you need them. The hotel personnel is outstanding! Very pleasant and helpful, very professional, especially at the reception/front desk. I had a room on the 6th floor, nicely updated, comfortable beds, and the breakfast was good too. I would go back.

Great value per pricePosted Jan 13, 2010
Room was large enough, comfortable and clean. Pictures are fairly accurate. The hotel is well located, at walking distance to the Obelisk and other sightseeing spots. Although, hotel staff was not overly friendly and spa amenities did not impress me, I would definitely go back.
