This is not an overly trendy hotel but clasically decorated, very comforatable with excellent service and staff. Great location perfect for pleasure or business

“Charming”

We stayed for a night, and wished we had planned for longer, when we came through Buenos Aires between visiting Iguazu Falls and heading south to Patagonia. Staff was courteous, and their English was very good. The room was very comfortable and attractively decorated. The hotel's amenities were beautiful, too. It is a botique hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Don't confuse this with the Melia property downtown.

“Nice in the Center of Buenos Aires”

It is very close to Aeroparque, the city airport, it is close to most of what you want to see and where you want to go. The staff is always helping out, the day I needed to fly out there was the issue of the volcano, and they kept my room if I wished to stay another night. Walking distance from the Recoleta Cementery, just behind the Alvear and Park Hyatt it is located in a great area. It is totally French style, that will be the only undertake if you don't like the style, but the standard room has an excellent bathroom, nice bed and furniture. The room always smelled mahogany which was nice to come back after a full day work. Also in a very affordable price. Just the Health Club cannot even be called that, I have better equipment at home, but the treadmill and elyptic cross over help you work the extra you will eat of "bife."

“Buenos Aires- Great Hotel”

Everything about this hotel was great! The staff, the room, the neighborhood. It is a little far from the subway, but easily walkable to Plaza de Mayo and Galerias Pacifico. I would definately stay here again!

“Great Staff and excellent location”

We stayed at two different hotels in the Recoleta during our stay in Argentina and found the Melia to be well worth the money. We walked everywhere from hotel and the staff was extremely knowledge and helpful.

“Wonderful boutique hotel”

Very well located and appointed upscale boutique hotel in the heart of the Recoleta district. Within walking distance of historical sites, museums, shopping, many different restaurants and cafes. The staff was friendly and most accomodating. The front office/reception and wait staff spoke English. Breakfast was included in our package and was excellent--a buffet with many choices. Internet access is available free of charge in a set aside area near the reception desk. When we were there, there were vistors from a number of countries including Germany, France, U.S. and Mexico.

“Excellent location, charming hotel”

The hotel is located in a nice street with lots of trees close to a famous shopping mall and a park with a historic church. The room was spacious and comfortable and the so was the lobby. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. It was great.

“Very clean, well appointed rooms...COMFORTABLE BED!”

Very well located and very comfortable boutique hotel. Beds were turned down at night and chocolates placed on pillows (nice touch). Breakfast cappucinos were terrific, but food selections during breakfast were a bit limited. Overall, we loved it and would stay there again.

“Location, Location, Neighborhood”

A beautiful hotel in a very upscale neighborhood. Very close to Cemetery Recoleta. Staff were helpful and very knowledgeable. We stayed here after staying in another location earlier in our trip. It was nice to closer to the cemetery neighborhood and to able to walk to the museums and other attractions.

Lovely hotel in BA...small, but well located and very friendly.Good value off season too.
