not ideal for businessPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
great for romantic vacation but not so much for business. No Iron in the entire Hotel, they need to send everything out. The young staff at the front desk most in their mid 20's are nice but lack the maturity and experience of a well seasoned hotel staff. I got a bit of the overconfident hipster attitude of a young staff working at a trendy hotel. Not what I'm accustomed to in Buenos Aires.

Home in RicoletaPosted Nov 7, 2013
Great Location, Attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Owned by an Argentinian wine family and so themed. Diego and all helped to coordinate events I had already booked as well as brainstorm other fun adventures in Buenos Aires. Felt very personal, which is one reason I chose this boutique hotel over larger "Grand" Hotels nearby. Very Clean and safe as well as upscale. King Junior suite was roomy and fun. I felt comfortable and at home.

good experiencePosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Room with ceramic floor plus wood floors, wooden bathtub, shower, quiet
Cons: maybe the bathroom could have a fan?
Location: upscale town with a lot of nearby shops in walking distance
Stayed 2 nights, and wow, this place was so beautiful. The layout of the room was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Among my favorite hotels of all-timePosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. I stayed just one night after a week traveling in Chile/Argentina, and I would definitely return to Mio and recommend to friends. I received a free upgrade to a senior suite, and there was a gorgeous wooden bathtub plus a large outdoor patio. The hotel staff offered a late check-out since they didn't need the room and my flight was at 8pm (so convenient being able to stay until 5pm). Located in a lovely, safe, central neighborhood, Mio is just a 2 minute walk from the amazing Recoleta Cemetery (site of Evita's grave) and many other sites plus the metro. Double thumbs up.

Fabulous HotelPosted Jun 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was great. Very nice (and not over-priced!) restaurant/bar. Beautiful pool in the enclosed sauna area. Decoration touches were all spot on.

Gem of a hotel!Posted May 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hotel Mio in Buenos Aires. This hotel was great! The room was on the courtyard side of the building so it was very quite. It was a very comfortable, well appointed room (room 303). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was perfect, eggs to order and ample buffet choices. The Recoleta neighborhood was very nice and convenient. It is one block away from the famous Recoleta Cemetery. The hotel is a must if you are planning a trip to Beautiful Buenos Aires.
