“Fine hotel”

A fine hotel located 5 minutes from Puerto Madero with a reasonnable price fro that standard. I will surely stay there next time in B.A.

We highly recommend this hotel in Argentina. Excellent serice and room size. One of the best buffet breakfasts we had so far. Great location easy walking distance from all sites.

The NH City Hotel is a beautifully renovated art deco building: it is very contemporary and elegant with an attention to details. The lobby is very spacious with a bar and several seating areas. It is a busy hotel serving businessmen and tourists. Every day there was a different funtion in the reception rooms. It makes it lively and pleasant. Breakfast is served in the restaurant located in the basement: buffet style, there is a large choice of foods for all tastes. The staff is helpful and professional. The rooms differ in sizes: ask for a room in the front of the hotel, otherwise the windows face other rooms. The bathroom are very nice and bright with windows. It is located right next to Plaza de Mayo: it is a business area with government buildings nearby so it is very lively during the week but very quiet during the week end. It is in walking distance of San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Calle Florida. Overall it is an excellent place to stay in Buenos Aires and we would defitnitly go back.

“Complicated arrival”

I had booked via Expedia but they never received the information. I had to wait for a long time while they agreed to give me a room (fortunately they had rooms available) and had to contact Expedia myself to show I had already paid for it. The hotel is comfortable and well located, they should check service and hospitality. They didn´t even offer me a seat while they sorted things out. Hard after a long day´s work.

“The worst Hotel experience ever”

Pictures shown on the page are not what you find once you get to your room.. we booked 2 rooms and both did not reflect the images shown. Entered the bathroom and found used soap from the previous guests and a dirty bathtub in one of the rooms. In the 4 nights that we stayed, we asked for wake up calls at the fromt desk... not one day did they wake us up. Never made it to breakfast until the last day because our tour guides would wake us up calling from the front desk. Menain no time to shower in the morning.. practically dress in 10 minutes. No alarm clocks are provided in the rooms. We asked for a taxi service with the hotel manager for 8:00 p.m. to go for dinner, taxi never arrived, front desk answered.. wait 5 minutes and if not go outside and look for a taxi. No bell boy will carry your luggage... and the luggage carts are there as part of decor as it seems... We were offered by the hotel manager a reserved table for our last breakfast.. we got there and ofcourse the reserved table did not exist. However their breakfast was decent.

“Not Impressed, Inconsistent Service”

While the decor and facilities are nice, the service is very inconsistent. We had to call for pillows, towels, and a new tv remote four times. When the maid arrived, she demanded to see our current towels and then refused to give us more. The hotel clerk we had to speak with also refused to give us the towels until I expressed my displeasure that no other hotel in the world had ever refused me extra towels. The same thing happened the next day. The breakfast is ok and the location is first rate, but I would not recommend this hotel.
