Terrible front desk. Outdated rooms. The indoor pool is HORRIBLE. As soon as I got to the hotel from the airport, I saw a prostitute in front of the hotel. The front desk guy Luca was rude. I went down to ask for ice and given that the bar area was closed, he sent me out at midnight to get ice from the grocery store he claimed was open but he knew very well that everything was closed. It’s not the safest area given the prostitution around. As a woman, I felt unsafe. Only two staff members made the stay a bit more pleasant: Ana the housekeeper and Edison the bar tender. I told Edinson to go work at a better hotel. He is too nice for that place.

Arrived hours before the check in time, but room was ready and we could unwind after the long flights to Argentina. Room was spartan but clean. We’ve been staying at this hotel for many years, and have seen its slow decline, but the location is great and the staff helpful and welcoming.

It is winter and after requesting a blanket for three consecutive days, I gave up when a staff member mentioned they do not have blankets! We arrived at 2am due to a plane delayed and there was no one to help us with a cart for luggage. The checkout this morning had a great gentleman though, very courteous and fast.

The pictures on the Expedia site are VERY misleading. We arrived at the property and found out it is completely outdated. Room was fairly clean, but paint on doors was peeling off, the floor had water damage (very visible). The beds were clean but very old mattresses. Toilet did NOT flush properly (not enough water). You can tell this property has not been remodeled since the 80's. Closet had no bars to hang anything from, and the staff's attitude was horrible. Every time you asked for anything, they just about rolled their eyes backwards, as if you were asking for the world. The bar selection was pathetic (top whisky was Jack Daniels).. On our last night, my companion sat at the bar waiting for wait stuff so long, he gave up on ordering (and drinks were overpriced too). The word that comes to mind is CATFISHED (the pictures are totally misleading). I could put up with an "old but clean hotel", but the staff's attitude really didn't help much. My recommendation: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Rooms very clean and spacious, but minimally furnished with furniture. Lighting in room relatively poor with mostly indirect lighting. Best thing about hotel is central and convenient location. Help did not seem all that knowledgeable about the neighborhood.

It’s a very nice hotel and the staff are great. It has very nice facilities. The location is great too. The pool/spa was also very good. The downside is it is a little tired and could use renovating. Everything worked fine and nothing was broken, but bits were worn out. And the WiFi barely worked in our room. The same is true here of the pool/spa.

Location, pool and breakfast bar can’t be beat
Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and although our room could have used more furniture than a single chair, the others in our group were better off. The hotel had one of the best breakfast bars I’ve encountered, and the indoor swimming pool was excellent (and the photos accurate). The location was superb, nearly across the street from the opera house and one of the tango shows, and within sight of the obelisk. Only the WiFi was poor.

Patricia provided excellent customer service. Checking in was easy and quick. The doormen were very nice and helpful. The only negative was there was a little mildew in the shower in the bathroom.

Room size is good, breakfast is acceptable, location is central. Staff need some service training, esp in the gym/pool area, decor is dark and dated. Walls are scuffed and details in hotel are worn and tired. The whole building needs a massive renovation and the business needs a new General Manager.

Nice stay
Old hotel which might need some overhaul. Nevertheless it is not in bad shape . Rooms are comfortable and clean . Location is perfect to downtown , suburbs and airport.

Good central location the Hotel serves a good breakfast we had an issue with one of the bar staff who took 40 minutes to try and make a coffee finally we gave up and went out to get a coffee , other that the hotel and staff were very good

A bit disappointing
Hotel location is good in the centre of town but it is rather old while room size is not bad is basic. Breakfast choices are good. Late check out was not possible despite shaving booked for 5 nights.

It has a great view if you are in the above floors. However the hotel itself is very old. Very run down. Its not worth the price tbh unless you are looking for a good view of the city. Its clean but the fact that its so old makes it look dirty. I dont like that i paid almost 180 for one nigtht for a hotel that looks super old. Ive stayed at a cheaper hotel in better condition. Its comfortable for a night or two or if youre passing by but not by any means for a long week.

They gave me room 510, there you can hear clearly the people from room 511. There were no international plugs to charge your staff. I had problems with the toilet, and then they change my room and gave me 515. The difference was huge, althoug is a "similar category". The spa is really nice.
