Excellent location next to everything!!Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Location and staff friendliness.
Cons: The owners may consider doing a facelift on some of the rooms.
Location: Close to bus stops and subway stops (Callao and Puerreydon). Great places to eat and shop by the area in Recoleta and in Ave. Santa Fé.
Hotel staff is great! extremely friendly and helpful. This place is all about location, it is within walking distance to bus stops, to the subway and to many places to eat and shop. If these are your main interests when visiting Buenos Aires, you will not be disappointed. The place keep its own charm by looking antique, this is not to be misinterpreted with lack of maintenance. However, if you are a late morning sleeper I will not suggest you to stay in a room by the 5th floor (it can get noisy with the machinery of the elevator as the elevator is being operated up and down). Wifi works everywhere in the premises and the complimentary breakfast is ok. This is the second time that I stayed at this hotel and it was great!!

Confirmed & pre-paid - arrived and told hotel fullPosted Mar 31, 2014
I arrived at Prince Hotel at 10.30pm and was told that the hotel was full, despite my having booked and paid in full nearly a week prior to my arrival. Thankfully they had arranged for me to stay elsewhere but I had to walk 7 blocks (with luggage, alone, petite, blonde female) to get to the new hotel. Unimpressed, particularly as Expedia said that the room would be guaranteed until midnight.

Very convenientPosted Mar 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was pleasant surprised. Love the location, the good attention. Safe and with style. My only complain is that there is not heat in the room, just air conditioner, and it is at a good temperature but if you are a person that suffers from being cold you may consider asking for a personal heater. And there is not a bar service. But there are plenty of places around the corner and a supermarket a few steps from the hotel. I liked it very much even these little things.

Nice location.Posted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Central location.
Cons: They seem to operate on a very limited budget!
Bare minimum hotel, a bit pretentious. Breakfast room could be made a bit more welcoming and decor was really lacking.

cheap, well equipped, no frills & in good locationPosted Mar 28, 2012
5 - 7 minutes' brisk walk took me to the main part of Buenos Aires, down Avenue Sante Fe so location is excellent. My room was small and relatively basic but had air conditioning, WiFi, shower, soap, towels, hari dryer, television etc so what more didi I need? Staff were friendly and spoke enough English for me to communicate despite my embarrassing lack of Spanish. If you want cheap, well equipped with no frills in a good location then I recommend it.

Great bargain.Posted Nov 22, 2011
Location: Recoleta is a beautiful neighborhood with access by foot to the Recoleta Cemetery and the national art museum, nice shops.
The Prince Hotel covers at the basics, if barely. Great, earnest, helpful staff. Fabulous location. Architecture includes some nice colonial details. Funky but adequate AC, tiny bed and bathroom with nice linens, hairdryer, free internet in lobby, adequate breakfast. Everything we needed it had. That said, if you need some luxury, this will not be a fit.
