The best in old and newPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Loft style suites. Most comfortable king size beds. Pillow menus in night stand. Great positive atmosphere .
Location: We went all around Buenos Aires and San Telmo is the most interesting area, artist community. Nice restaurants with street sitting like in Paris .
Met the very friendly and helpful staff at check in. They assisted us in planning our stay . Could not have nicer people working in a hotel. Luxury family boutique style hotel. Great breakfast . Felt very comfortable in this 140 year old, modern remodelled building.

Beautiful place to stayPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Everything, two floor suite was unique.
Location: The market, good food and drink in the area.
The staff was helpful, the property was nice, and the room was both unique and comfortable. Great value also...hard to beat. They accommodated the wife's gluten intolerance at breakfast admirably.

Buenos AiresPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Location, San Telmo is a great area with many hostels in the area. It is close to Puerto Madero, a popular are with nice restaurants.
Location: Cobble stone streets, hostels with many other tourists and restaurants for a good meal.
I was looking for an affordable/nice hotel near freinds staying in a Hostel. This more modern apartment like loft was great. The hotel staff all speak english, if your spanish lacks, and the service is very good. Puerto Madero is a nice area nearby and a cab ride to Palermo or Recoleta (the hotter areas for tourism in Buenos Aires) is about 40-60 pesos depending on traffic. I recommend this hotel, although it is a bit crammped with two people in the junior suite. Be warned, the doors shut around 10 pm everyday but they have a buzzer and will let you in immediatley, this is more or saftey, Buenos Aires is a large city.

Pre CruisePosted Feb 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We used San Telmo Luxury Suites before and after a cruise from Buenos Aires. For that purpose the studio suite was fine and the area, though appearing run down, had several restaurants/cafes and seemed safe enough. Central is within easy walkin distance. Unfortunately our room airconditioner failed on arrival and could not be fixed for 36 hours (weekend). Our only ventilation was to open the entry door the to the hotel reception area, there being no opening windows.Complimentary continental breakfast was fine as was staff service.Suites are not for the physically challenged, sleeping areas being on mezzanine levels and with no elevator to the upper floors.

In the heart of San Telmo. Only complaint is that they have single size beds.
