Excellent location. Hotel was basic but clean. Water was warm. Very small lift. Breakfast was limited but as expected for a budget hotel

two block away from Subway, good basic hotel
Used only for breakfast and sleeping. Went for work. Easy access to subway. Quiet area, but many homeless in the neighborhood.Anyhow i was safe. only 3 to 4 block away from the Corrientes theater district.

Great Value for Money
Perfect hotel for one night in Buenos Aires Spacious room, comfy bed and a lovely breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price! Close to the centre and a short walk to Recoletta. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A warm welcome
I arrived early at close to 8am in the morning after a 13-hour flight. It must have shown on my face, the jet lagged and wariness. The reception was only too kind to upgrade me into a suite with no questions asked. Absolutely made my day and trip even more memorable!

Nice hotel for its price. Elevator is really tiny (only 2 people and one piece of luggage), the breakfast was awesome.

nice city take the subway, visit the stadium la boca the ferry to Uruguay el Caminito Lujan the Basillica the pink house one think the City Buenos Aires looks dirty the streets a lot garbage around.

Room decor was outdated but the bed was very comfortable and room seemed clean, air conditioner worked well. Hotel staff spoke English well enough. But we saw a big roach run across door and baby roach in bathroom.

Good experience
Hotel staff (I can't name one person as we dealt with multiple people) exceeded our expectations in multiple situations: recommending and booking shows, calling taxis (ex. transfer to EZEIZA airport with fixed rate less than ARS300). Breakfast ok. The smallest elevator I ever used-max 2 person. However I didn't wait to much time to get one like in other hotels with bigger elevators. Maybe because there are 3 elevators.

Sarmiento Palace Hotel
We received a cold unwelcome look when we entered the hotel. The elevators will only hold two persons. Our room was very small and had a smell of mildew. We found mole around the bedroom window. Street traffic was very loud all night. The shower pan in the bathroom had mole and mildew around it also. The shower pan was also leaking. I asked to be moved to another room and they changed our room.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It is centrally located, it was clean, pleasant and accomodating. For the price, this hotel is great deal.

Three days in Buenos Aires
We arrived Very late and there was no problem. The hotel staff was very helpful with recommendations for tours and making a cab reservation for leaving for the airport. This hotel is truly a bargain. The room included breakfast. The location is walking distance to many sites and a short cab ride to others.

I had a single room. Nice helpful staff, let me in the room before check in time. good value,(bidet) nice breakfast buffet, but no coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave in the room, elevator tiny, just enough for 1 person with a suitcase. 3 computers in lobby, one of which is a slow XP, WI FI works most of the time. though there may be general connectivity issues in the area. view in some rooms is facing other guest windows. The no smoking room apparently meant, that I wasn't going to smoke in it, but the previous guest did. Over all a fair choice for "off the season, on a budget guest"

Exactly as advertised, clean, nice, easy.
I speak very little spanish, but everything was turnkey with this place. Zero issues. The wireless and free breakfast were as advertised, adequate.

The hotel is close to all amenities.
It was straight forward on checking in and out but not so friendly. For the breakfast buffet, if you like continental, croissant, a coffee and a glass of orange juice, you are in luck and hardly any hot food just boiled eggs and sausages, same everyday no varieties. The room itself is quite small but tidy. What small as well is the lifts, it only fits only one person with a small luggage. I was disappointed with the amount of noise at night with the water pump next to my room. The hotel itself is catered for overnight locals and not for long stay tourists.

Awful service from one of the receptionist. I asked for a taxi to Ezeiza but ended up going to Aeroparque. I had to pay for the extra taxi fares. Left some of my items there but a souvenenir was missing. I talked to the receptionist and he do not admit that it was him but trying to blame his co-worker.

Great hotel with many reasons.
I liked the location, all day cafe/bar area near the front desk, and overall brightness of this hotel. Front desk stuff were very helpful to pick Tango show and night time security was very well done. It is rare to see hot egg dish at the breakfast for this class of hotel in that area. I had a great stay there.

Good Location and rooms are cosy
Best thing about this hotel is location. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff is also friendly. Overall I would consider it a very good experience. However, there are few things they can improve. Lift is for literally 1 person only. If you are overweight then you can't use it. So do consider this when booking this hotel. Breakfast is not bad but it is not managed well. You have to wait for staff to refill items and sometimes to also find a table to sit.

Nice little hotel well located near subway.
A nice hotel, well priced, close to subway. Very friendly english speaking staff always willing to help. Good breakfast and lots of it. Rooms were quiet and clean. A.C. worked great. They let us have an early check in (10AM) at no extra cost. I would recommend the Sarmiento Palace.

Great Location
It is in a great location, one block from major street, three blocks from subway. four different type restaurants at the same block intersection. Room was clean, breakfast was great, even provided with fresh squeezed orange juice. The only complain is the elevator is very small.

STaff were really friendly, room was small but adequate, with a little balcony. What was an extreme disappointment was that they had advertised a swimming pool), temperature was in the low ,40´s, we would have loved to swim, they advised us that the pool was 2 blocks away but that it was closed because it was Sunday. The hot tub was empty. The bar was fun with lots of interesting people though.

very good value for money
It was fine. Very good value for money, nice room which was relatively spacious although I had booked a single. Breakfast had fresh fruit which is always a bonus. Good powerful shower. 76 channels on the TV but no BBC world or CNN in anything but Spanish, but fine for a short stay.
