“Nice Hotel, Great Location”

I spent 4 days with my wife in this hotel. Cordial personnel, very attentive to your needs, very clean rooms, good internet service. Overall it is a hotel that I would come back. Startegic loction for tourism.

Area recommendations

For tourism I will recommen the same area of the Sheraton Hotel because this is where the action is, especially beign just a block away from Florida street and close to many other downtown landmarks/attractions

“Well run, prompt professional service”

We had a great time at the Sheraton! The location is awesome. Within walking distance of several great tourist activities and sites to see. There was a sligth bad odor in the room (mildew like) once reported they apologized and immediately had it cleaned and air freshened. If it wasnt to our liking we could have changed rooms but it fine after that. When we asked for restaurant recommendations we got a thorough description of several in the area and then had reservations booked within minutes by a friendly front desk employee. The lounge in the lobby had great service and food as well. I would recommend their salmon sandwich, its outstanding. Upon leaving we had a late evening flight and they were happy to let us keep the room for 6 extra hours for a very fair rate. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to anyone looking for a great room, great location, and professional, prompt, friendly service.

“A real value Hotel”

The staff was outstanding.From front desk to bell boy. Had a little problem with room smell of chemicals in construction(The hotel is in the middle of renovation) but room change was quick enough.Over all it was a good stay.

One block from Florida Street.A pedestrian only shopping street. Shop till you drop. Everything is there.

“good location for shopping and friendly staff”

I think this hotel has good facilities and location for tourists. I will be comming back to Buenos in July/August 2011 and would like to stay here also if the rates are good and attractive. Hope you have good rates for Winter!! Breakfast was a bit monotonous as we stayed for 6 nights and was served the same dishes daily. I think there should be some changes after two days etc. For this trip I had booked 9 rooms. On the last day we needed a late check out till 5pm but it was not granted and we had to pay for all 9 rooms for this. I think that was a bit too harsh as some flexibility should be given. Overall I would recomend this hotel to my other friends etc and hope to promote is property.

Area recommendations

I think Florida Street is good for shopping and tours to Tigre and Colonia are recomended. However night life entertainment, one has to be cautious espeically in Florida street area and other areas at night. Shopping was good especially leather products and enjoyed your beef steak in many restaurants. Tango show is a must and we even visited Metropolitan theatre for a show.

“In the right place of Buenos Aires”

His central location give to the tourist all the posibilities to get any tour that permit to pick you up and return.

Go shopping to Florida street in the corner, to understand the life of Argentinos at Caminito and a good Tango show in the Viejo Almacen

Take a tour in the Hop In Hop Off bus in service now in Buenos Aires, you will be able to see the most important sights of the city and it is not expensive.

Dining

Excellent dinning places, visit Cabanas Las Lilas in Puerto Madero, excellent food, wine and service, Rest. Piegari in La Recoleta, good italian restaurant.
