“Is a good three star hotel with 4 star name”
The service is good. Very kind employees. The room always was clean, but some things didn't work all right, like the fixtures of the bathroom and the electrical system of the room. The hotel needs some maintenance. I never saw the breakfast or the pool that they advertise. But is quite and very relax the ambient.
“Value for money”
Nice place to stay. Close by Porto|Madero. Average room/hotel facilities.
“Good midle-class hotel, located in pretty noisy area (road traffic)”
Very friendly and helpful staff; furniture not convenient; no free internet access; close to cheap and stylish restaurants; caught between two noisy streets with a lot of traffic (trucks).
“Ok, but not a 4 star hotel”
Can't understand why they call it a 4 star hotel. It's a good 3 star. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel is close to Puerto Madero and close enough to downtown. Not a 4 star because: Breakfast is really poor, just bread, muffins and juice, milk and coffee No Service elevator, cleaning people use the only two available elevators for guests No information regarding hotel services in the bedroom No Room Service or dinning facilities except breakfast TV signal is low quality, no PPV or interactive tv. Wireless internet is US$14 for 12 hours, other hotels in Bs As give it for free.
“Normal”
We spent one night there, and it was OK considering it was the only available hotel for that weekend in that range of prices.
“Rude, unprofessional staff member ruined our experience”
We got a good deal, so we decided to stay there. It's 1 block from fancy Puerto Madero. It became apparent the moment we entered the hotel that this is a very new hotel. The front desk is a cheap office desk that was just dropped on a side of the lobby, with computer and telephone wires strewn all over. I hope they are still finishing interior designing. The room was fine: clean, simple, and comfortable. Our main problem with the hotel was due to an altercation with a young hotel staff member named Patricio. Long story short, we had a problem with the internet and the person on-duty at the front desk at about 1am couldn't fix it so he assured us that it would be resolved the next morning and that the hotel would give back internet time that we had lost. The next day, my son went to go speak with the front desk about resolving the issue and Patricio was very rude and unhelpful. Patricio told my son that he did not believe him that a hotel staff member assured us that the internet time would be reimbursed and told him to "accept the truth" and move on. When my son told him he was being disrespectful, Patricio said that it was not "rude" when a young person talks to another young person like that. Patricio made a big scene in the middle of a busy lobby, and never apologized. Later on, Patricio slipped some check-out forms under our door, but the guest survey was missing. The next day, we handed them a complaint at check-out and were reimbursed for our internet.
“Nice hotel but a dissapointing service”
The hotel was fine but some things made our staying dissapointing: - The hotel has no air conditioning except on the rooms. It works fine but in hot days a comfortable lobby is desirable. - They don't have a good support for wifi connections on the room, even when it's a payed and expensive service. I couldn't connect my notebook and the guy at the reception didn' know what to do, They just offered to reverse the transaction but I needed the connection. Finally ended working in the unique PC connected to the Internet in the hot lobby. - At breakfast they didn't have enough scrumbled eggs, even though we were right on time. They didn't offered to serve more. You'd better arrive early to have complete variety at breakfast. - And finally and worst... they forgot to clean up our room. We left early un the morning and got back late at noon, but the room was exactly as we left it. When I complained they sent a girl who said room service was only until 18:00 so she just left us new towels.
“Disappointing experience!”
Towels's quality is very poor. No safety at all around tube area.(dangerous water leaks) Poor clenliness in common areas like stairs, elevators
“Only for the location.....”
Very good location, very close to Puerto Madero.... but very bad maintenance to the hotel.....
“Location, location, location”
The title gives you the best three things about this hotel - great location for exploring el Centro, Puerto Madero and San Telmo. For what they charge the hotel gives ok value, but it really needs a refurb - rooms are spacious and fairly comfortable and were probably nice when first done but really tired and in need of some tlc now. Worst thing is laminate flooring in hallways which mean you hear everybody walking past your door. Still good value if only for its location.
