“Upgraded to the Park Palace”

My reservation was upgraded upon arrival. I was moved to the Park Plaza (owned by the same company). This hotel is also in the Recoletta. The Park Plaza is a very nice hotel. I would not have booked this hotel because of the price, but it was a very pleasant surprise to be staying there. My Castillano is better than there English, but desk help was happy to assist other travelers in English. Everything in the Recoletta is within walking distance of the hotel. There is very little street noise as the hotel is located on a quiet street. The breakfast buffet is varied. However, I was charged extra for scrambled eggs. The elevators and bathrooms are small by American standards. The only negative was the $14 per day fee for an internet password.

I Enjoyed a lot my stay in this hotel, specifically for the excellent attention. The rooms are very comfortable, illuminated and roomy. The hotel this very well located near everything and in a very calm street. I recommend this hotel since I consider it is excellent

“Reasonably priced & very comfortable”

Small, Comfortable & reaasonably priced. Breakfast should be included in the rate. Some staff spoke no English, which caused some problems. Internet available. Very clean, located in a safe neighborhood. Quick to call us a cab or give us directions. When I returned at the end of my trip, they had lost my reservation and the hotel was full. But, by way of apology, the desk clerk quickly arranged for me and my two friends to be moved to the Central Park Plaza (another Kempinski hotel) where we got up-grades in our rooms. WE also got a complimentary glass of wine & one free breakfast. That hotel was one block from the Oblesik but noisy. Staff there nearly all spoke very good English Very clean & comfortable. I had the experience of having someone open the connecting door to my room from the other side at 4:00 a.m. Front desk responded immediately and re-locked the security lock, which obviously had not been locked. They moved my room the following day.

“Great Boutique Hotel Experience”

This was a great hotel to stay in located in the safe location of Recolleta. It was close to all the sites and attractions (most attractions like downtown shopping and restaurants were within walking distance). As soon as we arrived the staff was super friendly and nice. When the consierge noted that he had availability, he upgraded us to the penthouse suite. The penthouse was two floors and loaded with antique furniture. In the morning we had a full buffet breakfast with both hot and cold items. Bottom line, this was a boutique hotel experience at a reasonable price. We 100% recommend this hotel. If we go back to Buenos Aires, we will definitely come back here.

The first impression was no good at all, I tought would be like beeing in a residence, because entrance was too small that I did not notice it was a hotel.. but once I get to the room it was so spacius that I love that kind of contradiction. People were friendly enoght that when I got back from my meetings people from concergery told me that I look tired and send me some coffe to my room, THAT really maked me feel at home!! Besides that, hotel was very clean and pastries were sooo god that I would like to have more time next time to stay longer at breakfast. Santa Fe Avenue was jus two blocks with all cafeshops and places to shopping.. I really enjoyed beeing there !!

Beautiful interiors, great buffet breakfast, extremely helpful concierges. Alao they got us taxis to the airport at cheaper rates. Would love to stay there again.

“Great staff, location and value”

This hotel is a pretty elegant building in a nice area of upscale shops and nice restaurants to stroll in at night. Rooms have high ceilings, AC and big French windows. It is a pretty inexpensive cab ride to the shopping places on Florida Street, and there is a spiffy mall a couple of blocks away with english-language movies if you need them, tho the tv in the room was quite OK, several english channels beyond your CNN/BBC fare. Breakfast is simple but good. The one drawback of the part of the hotel I was in was that the elevator is a beautiful old style brass cage thing. Unfortunately people leave the inside cage door open and the elevator stays stuck at their floor until you walk up or down to close it. Staff are ultra helpful, there is a free computer with internet access available.

The hotel is fine. Nice service and location for a very reasonable price. The only thing I hated about it was the elevator of the block where I stayed at... those accordion doors were just awful!
