“Good hotel, dreary town”

No complaints with the hotel stay, this was one of the bests of the Best Western chain (and I've stayed in quite a few!). It's located downtown in one of the better areas, but that's not saying much. It seemed fairly safe but don't expect much nightlife or attractions here. The Anchor Bar (home of the buffalo wing) is a couple blocks away and worth a visit though.

Clean, comfortable room at a decent price. Close to the Anchor Bar (our destination to try the 'original' Buffalo Wings).

“can't believe they allowed smoking in the room!!”

the window curtain can't be closed, and there is a light in the parking lot illuminating right towards my window, you can image how hard to get sleep in this condiction. also, they allowed smoking in the room, my clothes become smelly after I check out.

“Downtown Buffalo”

Love the location, great neighbourhood. Friendly staff.great restaurants around. Breakfast - nothing exciting but adequate. Beds very comfortable. Shower could be better. Could be better priced though. - all too expensive.

“Noisy Nonsense - maybe this was a fluke?”

I am an extremely sound sleeper, and have never been woken or seriously disturbed by noisy guests at a hotel... until I stayed here. Several times throughout the night I was jolted awake from sleep by what sounded like a party right outside my door. Called the front desk and it continued throughout the night. Worst night's sleep I've ever had at a hotel.

“Good enough hotel in a great part of Buffalo to visit”

Great location. Friendly staff. Beds were not very comfortable and mattresses seemed of low quality.

“Fair value”

This hotel was clean and a relatively good value, especially as breakfast (cereal, toast, juice) was included. Worst feature was the old-fashioned blow dryer - a tube that I previously have only seen in Europe. Not very effective!
