“adequate travellers hotel”

Easy on/off interstate. Parking is a bit of a mess. But the rooms were maintained. We would stay again, but mostly as a budget stop. Probably not a longer term stay.

“Buffalo Hotel - would go back”

This hotel was well above our expectations! The rooms seem as though they were newly redecorated. Flat screen tv's, 2 different types of down pillows and a very comfy down comforter on the bed. Refrig and Microwave in the room and a Complimentary BREAKFAST - They have waffle makers, coffee, tea, juice fresh fruit and different types of breads and muffins. Indoor pool and small workout area. We are looking forward to our next trip to Buffalo so we can stay here again.

“Clean room, Great Bed, Nice Breakfast, Needs some work.”

I was in town for a memorial service so the room was not my main concern. Location to airport, shuttle, food, price were my main points. Is it the Ritz? No. But, you are not paying for the Ritz. The room was clean and comfortable. AC worked fine and the bathroom was well stocked. Many pillows to choose from. Plenty of space in a King room for me and my suitcase. Pool was nice, hot tub was better. Cloudy water though but it seemed clean. There was a pair of flip flops left in the room for my whole two day stay so my suggestion is a routine cleaning of that room by housekeeping. The breakfast was better than advertised. Waffles, breakfast breads, 4 cereals, hot eggs and sausage, yogurt, etc. Great value!!! My only suggestion is to clean the garbage cans in this area as they were gross when I was there. The only real issue I had was that housekeeping was banging on my door at 8AM (ignored her this time) and 9AM (answered and let her know I would be out soon) on my check out day. Now, I did not have a Do Not Disturb sign but I did not ask for a replacement either. This was preventable so I really cannot complain about it. We had 8 other rooms that booked here for the service and everyone thought that for the price, it was a great value. I agree. Remember, it's the Clarion not the Ritz.

“Won't Be Back”

I chose this hotel primarily for its location, and in that department it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and upkeep standards fell way short of my expectations. The bathroom needed a disinfectant wipedown upon arrival, there was hair in the dresser drawers, and cobwebs hanging from overhead. If you are uncomfortable around spiders, centipedes, or roaches, this is not the place for you! We encountered them all. The service was also average. Our family of four booked the room for nine days, and needed to ask for four towels each day,instead of the standard 2 or 3. One day we asked for another shampoo because the teeny bottle was empty, We were generously given more along with conditioner and cream, only to have it all taken away the next day! On the last day we ran out of toilet paper with no back-up. I'm not suprised the front desk does not ask, "How was your stay?", upon checkout!

“Nice Staff - Dumpy hotel”

First issue is with Expedia - we reserved non-smoking but when we showed up and the hotel was booked they bumped us into smoking. It was 1 am and we had no other options. Expedia should not allow this. To happen Second - large spider web in corner of room filled with gnats The place was old carpet fraying Staff was very helpful

“Great Price, Good Choice”

The stay was very nice. The indoor swimming pool was clean and the temperature of the water was refreshing. The two downsides were the pillows were very soft and the enterance and exit are on a one-sided highway with a divide infront so one can not make a left hand turn with driving down the right side and turning around. The hotel should conside a rear entrance to the hotel off a side street.

“Excelent location”

The staff was great from the momment we walked in to the momment we checked out. We were next to the Hi-way but the room was very quiet & comfortable. Didn't take long to get to the sites of the city & close to the airport. Will stay here again when we make another trip to this area.

Area recommendations

We visted the "Anchor Bar", The house where T. Roosevelt was sworn in, Fort Niagar and The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society. More to see but we didn't have time.
