Great shuttle service to Buffalo AirportPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Shuttle service and parking for 21 days is excellent. Really this is the only reason to chose this hotel.
Cons: Vents need to be cleaned
Location: Very close to Buffalo airport.
We chose the Clarion because of its park and fly shuttle service. We were dinged an extra thirty dollars on check in for leaving our car despite what the website and calling in advance told me. Shuttle service is fantastic. The driver was informative and gave us great direction for our departure and also what to do on arrival, where to wait etc. Hotel needs to be renovated. Clouds of dust came through vents every time heat came on. This made us get congested and made sleeping difficult.

This hotel should be "closed for renovations"Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: They gave me a generous discount when I complained about my dirty room.
Location: Decent location but hard to get into and out of depending on your origin and destination. You will probably have to do a U turn at some point!
The lobby is scary. There is so much potential there. This place must have been a gem years ago but the lifting stained carpet, the lack of overall vacuuming, and the general state of the place makes you regret your reservations. Some of the staff is good and helpful, while others are just horrible and should change jobs. Customers should not hear of people's sex lives and personal problems while waiting in the lobby.

Convenient for a stopoverPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arrived on a weeknight. Wireless internet did not work, except for a small area around the reception desk. Sofa in room was so dusty and old, wouldn't want to sit in it. Ice machine was not working either. Breakfast service was efficient, as expected. Coffee and hot water service, even at night, in the lobby was also a good thing to have. The place is really showing its wear and tear.

All we neededPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
All we needed before a flight. Excellent referral for dinner ... just next door and the food was very good. Only one issue ... no wake up call for our 0530 flight! Fortunately I also had my alarm set. Will use this hotel again.

unpleasant awakeningPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: pleasant stay and excellent breakfast
The only real downside to our stay was that at 4:30 in the a.m., a couple in the room above us, started yelling obscenities at each other and were extremely loud. The only salvation was that I was able to turn the a/c fan on high to drown out the commotion, and fortunately was able to get back to sleep.

Stay was OK, did not like the half sized pillows. They were way too small. Breakfast was excellent.

Could not figure out why bathroom glasses were missing and not replaced by housekeeping. Coffee pot had not been cleaned and soap and shampoo wasn't restocked. Found your king bed room to be about a third in size when compared to a room with 2 queens...and yet it cost more per night.

not impressed at allPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
First time staying at a clarion or choice hotel for that matter. Worst experience ever. The keys to open the door never worked! Took programming 4 times and walking back and fourth from the outside to front desk to get it right. Then the same key didn't open the pool door, the hot tub never worked. Then the key didn't open the room again for the 5th time with my wife and 2 kids all wet outside the door! Was extremely upset as not even a sorry came out from the managers mouth, or a complimentary gift for the inconvenience. The breakfast was average, the girl working had an attitude, told me to wait when asked about hot water for tea, instead of "it's getting refilled, will bring it right over ". The managers should reevaluate their staff and fix their door locks and keys.
