GOOD, CLEAN BASIC HOTEL + NICE EXTRA FRILLSPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Nice beds! Mattress is perfect--not too firm or soft. Everyone gets 2 superior pillows: 1 firm and 1 fluffy so you can decide. Quiet room.
Cons: Breakfast area also doubles as lobby. It's big enough but in A.M. was a bit crowded at the tables. If you don't like , take food back to room.
Location: Near other hotels + University of Buffalo (across street). Restaurants are mostly those in hotels and a few strip plazas. Need car!
Found this one online and took a chance since it was close to family and in a hub of other hotels and I have a car. Front desk was personable and I found a few nice frills: free breakfast that was constantly being restocked (Continental--muffins, toast, waffles, cereal, etc + hot items--eggs, sausage, bacon, hard boiled eggs), free parking, indoor poor (small but cute), fitness room. In hallway they have vending machines (food..hot pizza vending machine...who knew?), ice, a self-serve microwave, and computer desk. Parking was close to exits so we're not trekking our stuff all over the place. Room has fridge and coffee machine, iron, etc.

We booked this hotel for a college visit to UBuffalo. This hotel is directly across from the north campus, which is very convenient. Room was updated, very clean and beds very comfortable. Hotel staff very friendly. Will definitely stay there again. My only complaint is that the breakfast bar was busy and ran out of food ( continental bkfst) but coffee was hot and very good!

Convenient and dog friendly.Posted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: Dog friendly and convenient to find.
Cons: Housecleaning... especially in the bathroom.
Location: Found a sports-bar pub almost next door within easy walking distance. Food and service there were satisfactory.
We just needed a dog-friendly overnight hotel while heading home. OK for our purposes. Hotel was convenient to find and attractive on the outside. Housecleaning in our room was disappointing... found long black hairs on the bathroom floor. Drain in the tub was slow to drain. Breakfast in the morning was adequate.

Excellent for UB Center of the Arts ShowPosted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a great rate, clean and very close to the UB Center of the Arts where we went for a show. Can't beat it really. On a nice night - you could walk through the campus in no time.

Convenient to both the university and downtownPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: A clean room with a refrigerator.
Cons: Staff said room smelled smoky because smoke drifts thru the ventilation system from the smoking area. Said hotel will be all non-smoking in Oct 2013.
Location: Close to freeways which can take you downtown Buffalo or to Niagara Falls; university across the road.
Second time we've stayed here. It's a pleasant hotel at a reasonable rate.
