Great Fourth Of JulyPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The rooms was clean.
Cons: The pool water was very cloudy and dirty. Maintenance of the pool.
Location: Great location, everything was 5 to 10 minutes away driving.
I stayed at Double Tree from Friday 3rd of July till the 5th of July, I requested a room with a refrigerator and I got one, and the hotel staff was very kind, my family loved the warm cookies when you check in. The hotel was close to everything, great location.

Cons: attitude from your staff, inform staff of what time guess should leave and should clean the place well and properly,
Location: not bad at all
i regret to take my family, into your hotel, room smell cigarette the guard try to denied the fact and smell, we were moved to the 302...wasn't clean well, not enough towells, shampoos etc. the next day the housekeeper ask us to leave at 11am. while in the shower i have to hurry to leave the room. How you can charge so much, and rate your hotel at 4 star? The carpet was all messy, durty, as if someone has spilled wine or other liquid. in resume sorry but never again, i'll stay in your hotel, i wouldn't recommed to anyone either. Sincerely, Rafael Bravo and family. (our guess weren't impress as it was their first time in N.Y. Buffalo)

Over PricedPosted Jun 30, 2015
The room had a heavy dampness smell (thought I was in Mexico) and needs a fresh repaint. Shower drained very slowly and the stall had no toe tester for the water temperature. Water stain on the ceiling over the sink. The office chair you had to sit in a 45 degree to rest your back. The pool they had left open for an hour later as there was a peewe hockey teams staying. But was completely out of control. This is one of lowest quality rooms I've stayed in for a Hilton series hotel yet.

Nice Hotel, Good LocationPosted Jun 12, 2015
Cons: In room furniture and a/c
If you need to be near SUNY Buffalo North Campus, this is the hotel to stay at. It is comfortable, clean and convenient. There were three small issues with my stay, which prevented me from giving the hotel all 5's. First, the a/c. It was hard to have constant temperature in the room. The a/c would come on, then turn-off. Five minutes later it would turn on again. This was a little aggravating. Second, the coffee table looked as though it had been pulled from a dumpster. There were scratches and dings all over it. Finally, the curtains looked as though they had been purchased at the a second hand store. There were rips and holes in them. Aside from those things, my stay was enjoyable. The staff is great and the hotel is very nice.

Not for the light sleeperPosted Jun 8, 2015
Unfortunately for us there was a baseball tournament group or something like that staying at the same time as us. We had screaming kids running up and down the corridors and drunken adults conversing loudly in the middle of the night. Not conducive with having a 2 year old trying to sleep. We asked the next morning and were told we were in the quieter part of the hotel already by an unenthusiastic receptionist and that we could move if we wanted too. We have stayed here before and it was great but this experience has put us off. Great facilities but if you want a quiet time or have a wee one, perhaps ask if there is a group or event going on.

The facilities were clean and decent , but nothing more than average. Can't say it was worth the relatively high price.
