Great introduction to BuffalolPosted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: very friendly receptionist wonderful having a shuttle...no worries about walking or taxis etc...all was provided!
Cons: all was great
Location: Visited the Coles Pub where there are many beers on tap. Visit the beautiful Shrine of Our Lady of Victory in Lackawanna, a suburb!
The reception staff were so welcoming, helpful and informative. They offered a shuttle service to places in the area, which was FANTASTIC. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable, and the hotel was well maintained.

Best hotel staff everPosted Mar 4, 2014
Location: Not a lot within walking distance but the "Sweet Ride" shuttle more than makes up for this.
We were in Buffalo with two other couples, went to the Sabres game on Friday night and a bit of shopping on Saturday, a relaxing weekend away. Had a great time, great recommendations for restaurants and activities from the hotel staff, front desk and shuttle driver. Beds were so comfortable, would definitely stay here again.

A bit hiddenPosted Mar 2, 2014
This hotel was great, once we finally found it. Tucked in the midst of a complex of medical buildings, it's easy to drive right by without seeing it. The signage could (and likely should) be a bit more obvious.

Lovely stay!Posted Feb 25, 2014
There was a problem with the room keys however staff was very attentive and apologetic. As well, having never been to Buffalo before they were excellent at offering things to do and see. Super comfortable bed, everything was very clean and we overall did not have an issue with anything!

Convenience PlusPosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Friendly front desk staff. Clean, good value for money.
Cons: Parking was $13 per night. It was valet parking but assume the valet was needed because the parking spaces are very tight given the area.
Location: Klienhaus Music Hall
We came to Buffalo to see a concert and stayed overnight at the Double Tree Hilton. The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity to Klienhaus Music Hall and the hotel offered a shuttle service to the and from the hall. The hotel is also within 5 minutes to the border, and within 1 minute of some good restaurants. The lady at the front desk, Wanda, was very welcoming. She gave each of us one of the hotel signature chocolate chips cookies on arrival, and provided us with good suggestions for restaurants. Our room was great, good size, very clean and great bath towels. Would definitely return.

Night downtownPosted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: Everything was great. The location was close to where I needed to be and it was a good sized hotel, but not too big.
Cons: The parking situation wasn't super easy. The valet was very expensive and slow.
Location: Very close to Allentown, which is fun.
The hotel staffs ere very helpful, the room was really nice and comfortable. Little kitchenette area, hair drier, coffee, everything you need!

Great Stay at The Double Tree HotelPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Double Tree Downtown Buffalo and were extremely pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff made this visit the most enjoyable, from friendly and prompt service, to shuttling us around downtown Buffalo for dinner each night. The hotel was impeccably clean and also offered the best rates for the Black Friday weekend. We will be returning to this hotel next year, for our annual girl's weekend.
