A1 hotel very close to theater district

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: The location of the hotel to the theater district and restaurants cannot be beat.
Cons: Absolutely nothing could be improved. We travel regularly and this has to be the nicest hotel we've stayed at so far.
We are from Canada and went to see a theater production at Shea Center for Performing Arts. Hotel is only a few blocks from the theater district and many restaurants. We were able to walk to the theater. Hotel has valet parking, fantastic breakfast buffet, rooms are top notch and very clean. Hotel staff were extremely welcoming and polite. We will definitely stay here again.

overnight after show at Shea's

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The suite itself with the separate bedroom, pool and hot tub, food, waitstaff, etc.
Cons: I prefer an earlier that 4 check in, which we were accommodated ... prefer when the vanity is outside the bathroom as it allows 2 people to get ready
Location: downtown location...our cab to Shea's was just over $5...why bother driving yourself & having the hassle and cost of parking
In Buffalo for show at Shea's (6 of us) and didn't want to travel home (1hr) after show so we decided to stay over. After dropping our bags in our room, we headed to the pool & hot tub....then back to room to "get ready" for the complimentary "drinks and snacks" downstairs which was very nice. We then ate right there ordering from the Lounge menu & everything was delicious with waitstaff very friendly, in the know and attentive. The following morning we hit the pool and hot tub before the complimentary breakfast. It was again delicious...made to order omelets, toast, bagels, cereal, meats, fruits, pancakes etc.... very good. we all loved it and would all return! Thank you.

Love the managers reception with drinks / appetize

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Location, mangers reception, food, room
Cons: Free parking, early checkin
Very displeased with check in. We paid our room in full one week prior to arrival. We arrived one hour before checking time allowed which was at 4:00 pm, and was told to wait twenty minutes. We didn't get our room until three and a half hours later and after several calls down to front desk for our friends room.

We love staying at the Embassy Suites as it can accommodate our family of six and has an excellent breakfast! Great value for the price!

Great location in downtown buffalo

We have stayed there for the past two New Years eves in a row, and both times have been very pleasant experiences! The rooms are very large and clean, and the location is walking distance to all the night life.

suite

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Proximity to downtown and the train. Breakfast was amazing! Loved the pool and hot tub.
Cons: Pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Valet parking too expensive.
Wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed it especially the evening reception and breakfast that was included.

Great room, large ste, comfortable bed, slept great! Clean! Great staff, helpful, personable. Buffet terrific. Centrally located. Beautifully decorated both inside/outside for Christmas! Restaurant manager courteous and warm. Minimal problems likely limited to that room, that first day - non working telephone, low battery room thermostat affecting heat temp, no hot water til about 10am - all were easily corrected by attentive maintenance!! Large furnished lobby on third floor with city view; great for business or relaxation. Starbucks in main lobby!! Complimentary shuttle to & from airport was a much appreciated extra.

Only one thing I did not like is location of our room, it was next to elevator and you can hear each time when elevator goes up or down. This is first time that I noticed this kind of noise in any hotel. Anyway nice clean hotel

Wonderful Time!

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and Cocktail hour, the separate living room, the staff
Cons: Food at cocktail hour could be taken up a notch, to match the high quality of the breakfast
Location: Bills Game, SalsaRita, Bada Bing, Niagra Falls
We were able to check in early, around 12:30, which was a very pleasant surprise. Checking in took all of 2 minutes, an even better surprise. The room was very nice, loved that it had the separate living room area. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was very good, the cocktail hour at 5:30 was OK, drinks were great but the food left more to be desired. Check out was nice and easy, we used the valet and they were always quick and polite. Overall a really great experience. If I return to Buffalo I will definitely be staying at Embassy!
