Everything was excellent except the bed - too soft. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and was a great place to stay.

“First time in Buffalo, Great Hotel”

This is my second time staying at a Homewood Suites. The first was in Chicago. Both times were great. Amherst service was outstanding. Very friendly, knowledgable staff. Were willing to help at any time. Clean, nice hotel atmosphere. Centerally located to surrounding areas as well. I will definitely look to stay at Homewood Suites again, on any further trips. Would definitely recommend to other travelers.

“Worth much more than a Buffalo Nickel”

What a great stay at the Homewood. We were up in Buffalo for a wedding, arrived on Friday after a 6.5 hour drive, and there was delicious coffee waiting in the lobby, a wonderfully helpful clerk, and a very comfortable room laid out well and with plenty of seating, drawer and closet space, a nice kitchen, and an inviting bed. We had time to relax before the rehearsal dinner. Sat. and Sun. mornings we enjoyed a wonderful free breakfast including eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, etc. Nice! On Sat. before the wedding, we wanted to lunch, and the reservations clerk enthusiastically suggested Duff's, reputedly (though disputed by he who shall not be named) to be the original place of Buffalo Wings. 2 blocks away! That lunch was ecstasy, and so big we took home cartons for the ride home. We didn't have an opportunity to use them, but the pool looked good, the fitness room had enough machines, and the business center readily available. We were close enough to go to the Falls on Sun. before heading home, and close enough to all places we were supposed to visit, so I think the location was good. In Buffalo again? I probably wouldn't look any further.

“Exceptional Hotel and brilliant value.”

As a frequent business traveller and a regular at many 'Suites Style' hotels I was extremely impressed by this Homewood: immaculately clean, extremely comfortable (the bed was sensational) and with all the facilities I could want. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and very well equipped with all you need for basic self catering. With a business centre, indoor pool, gymnasium and very nice common areas, I found this Homewood exceptional, and exceptional value. As well as a very good hot breakfast, and reliable free hi speed internet, the room rate even included a light meal and free beer most weeknights as a bonus! The hotel is only a couple of minutes drive from the University and the business complex I was working in. I would recommend this hotel extremely highly for anyone seeking excellent accommodation and excellent value in the Amherst area.

“Perfect for graduation”

Visiting the UB area for the last 4 years, first time at Homewood Suites. Perfect our daughter's graduation, rained all weekend, but spacious rooms allowed us to entertain with plenty of comfort. Staff very accommodating.Wish we had discovered this hotel before my daughter's last year!

“nice place”

We have three children, so we are always overcrowded in a single room. Often we are not even allowed to book a single room, so this suite was perfect! We had a lockoff bedroom with two queens, and the rollout was plenty big for a six foot man. The kitchen even came equipped with utensils, and the fridge was a full size too, often you get only a mini fridge in these suites. Overall, staff was friendly, and I would go back. My family enjoyed the breakfast on three mornings, and it was nice to have a full buffett, not just continental service.

“Our annual trip”

This hotel is a great place to stay, especially if you have a dog. We come gere every year to see our kids. Everything is so clean looking. There is a great breakfast every morning. There is a cocktail hour, too, in the evenings, but we never made it to one. It's nice to have the nuker & fridge, too.

“Great Family Atmosphere!”

Looking for a hotel online can be rather precarious, not knowing the area and quality of staff. But we were very pleased with the spacious area to move around in with our 3 teens and us parents. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and even a basketball court (small) which my husband and son loved. About 25 minutes to Niagra Falls, not too bad. Would highly recommend. Because of our stay here we continued to use Homewood Suites and were happy at the one in Boston also.
