Nice lobby, elevators and restaurant

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Was not advised parking was so expensive. Paid $25 to have them drive across the street to the lot they told us was $18 to park in. Bed super uncomfortable and very noisy and stairwell smelled really bad. Pn 3rd floor and thought would walk down but changed our minds with the smell. Pool closed way too early but breakfast was delicious best part of the stay.

Excellent choice of hotel for a couple traveling with a 7 month old for a wedding in Downtown Buffalo. Was close to everything. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Nice, modern hotel with updated elevators and rooms. Would definitely recommend!

Great for a Weekend Getaway!

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Parking,Staff,Location
Cons: Shower
Stayed at the hotel for Father's day weekend to visit family. The hotel overall was clean and the Valet parking was def worth the 25/day. It made the expereince of going in and out of the city stress free. The Hotel staff was beyond wonderful minus a little attitude I got from one of the front desk personel regarding a request I needed help with. The rooms were great and I loved them. I may just say the shower could have used either cleaned or updated a little more. Overall it was great and i would stay again in a heartbeat!

Ok hotel

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Cons: See above
Hotel was all right but I was surprised and unhappy to find no grab bars in the bathroom near the shower. Made taking a shower a risky experience. Have stayed in many hotels, including other Hyatts, and every single one of them had grab bars in the bathroom. Would not stay in this hotel again because of this defect.

would stay again

The only drawback was this hotel's wi-fi was weak and they wanted to charge you $4.95 to upgrade to a stronger wi-fi package than the free one. That's stupid!!! Wi-fi should be free no matter what

Only the lobby is up to date. Rooms etc aren't

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The lobby is nice.
Cons: All hallways are dated
It was okay. The Embassy Suites in Buffalo is a better hotel. Haven't stayed at the new Hilton yet.

Pros: Location was good. Room was nice. Building was good.
Cons: The staff at the front desk was hit or miss on friendliness. We had a cleaning staff person come by at 9 and then 9:15, while we were still asleep.
Location: Don't pay $25 for valet parking. $2 overnight parking right on the corner of Pearl and Chippewa.
Overall, a nice stay in an odd city. I wish the breakfast was free. The location and room were nice. The price was a bit steep for a city like Buffalo. Close to good places to walk and eat.
