An ok place to stay

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The wifi info should be given out at the time of check in, the hotel could use an elevator.
Location: Not to far from Niagra Falls
The hotel exterior was being worked on when we were there. The clerk was less than helpful. The Hotel doesn't have an elevator, which makes it hard if you have many suitcases.

Clean but so so breakfast

Room is clean. Facilities look new. No hot breakfast. The conveyor toaster does not do its job.

OK Hotel

Pros: Easy access to N.Y Thruway.
Hotel has very easy access to the NY State Thruway. That's a plus. About 12 mins from the north campus of Suny Buffalo. Room was very good size and clean. Nice bed,large flat screen TV. Could have used an extra blanket on the bed as it was still cool out side. Had to turn the heat on. Breakfast in the AM was good, many items to pick from. I'd stay again.

Hotel with a bizarre policy

Pros: Otherwise well equipped, though the bathtub is for very skinny people only.
Cons: Size of tub (too narrow) PUT BLANKETS ON THE BEDS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. IT WAS 32 F OUTSIDE.
I was surprised to learn that La Quinta no longer provides blankets on beds. You are given a sheet and a very thin towel-like "blanket." If you don't ask for more, you won't get one. Most of the staff didn't seem to know this policy. One worker said "maybe he didn't see the blanket." Could I be that stupid and still manage to find the hotel? Finally the person at the desk said "it's a new La Quinta policy." I was shocked.

I want to assure you that there is no La Quinta policy regarding not having blankets in the guestrooms, as naturally blankets tend to go with beds. I also want to apologize for the fact that you encountered resistance and that you felt insulted by the inappropriate comment of the staff member who implied that you simply could not see the blanket. This is certainly an insulting statement and we want you to know that we are addressing the issue as guest service and satisfaction are our top priorities. Nice location - poor design

Pros: Fairly clean and friendly staff. The beds were the most important part to me for getting a good night sleep.

Location: Mall just down the street A short distance to the Walden galleria 2 restaurants,Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel 2 24hr walmart Cinema
A little close to the airport so expect the noise of airplanes flying over. I was also disappointed to find the sink to wash your hands is not in the bathroom but outside the door. I guess overall for the price its good, the beds were comfortable which was the main reason we chose this one over a few in the area and its close to lots of shopping. The last issue I had was with the breakfast area (which did have ample food). The staff cleaning the breakfast area while we were trying to eat and there is no sink. They put a sign on the garbage can not to put any liquid (left over waffle batter, juice/coffee) in the trash. Well, no sink, no second trash for liquid. What do you do? Take it back to your room to get rid of? Kind of silly. I though any kitchen should have a sink but that's just me I guess.

Great Hotel
