My stay was very nice. The room was quiet received a good night sleep. The pillows where a bit hard but worked around that. Was glad to be able to see my daughter at Deamen College right down the street

Pros: Location is great for shopping. Very friendly breakfast lady :)
Cons: Needs updating. Internet service poor.
Location: Shop till you drop!!
Old cottage style furniture and no fridge. Internet poor. But clean and comfortable.

Our stay at the Lord Amherst was ok its under construction and the tvs were old and didn't even have RCA jacks so we couldn't even hook up our playstation or roku device!!! The General Manager was rude and in general a dislikable person the only thing that saved our trip was the lady who worked night shift she was chatty and friendly was informed about what was interesting in the area and made our time in Buffalo much more pleasant! !!!

We were disappointed that the Sonoma was closed. More disappointed that managemnet did not have an alternate choice for us. He just laughed at us. We have been staying at the Lord Amherst the last 5 years because of the Snoma and the ability to have a few drinks and smoke a cigar. Then we find out that someone and his wife that we recommended the Lord Amherst to gets his room room for $60 out the door and we paid $79. The peole working there are nice but management sucks. I guesss we can stay at one of the motels closer to the basketball areana.
