“Old but good”

Convenient location to where I needed to be. The breakfast was decent and wireless was easy to access. Time of year made it quiet. You can spend more to get a newer room, but the Lord Amherst gives you a better feel for Buffalo and the rooms are clean. They could use Fox News Channel instead of CNN.

“Excellent customer service / mildew problem”

All was good with the exception of the bath room. The bath tab needs a major work. I noticed a mildew growth. Please take care of this so you keep your reputation. Excellent customer service!

“A quaint Little Motor Lodge”

If you have business to take care of or visiting the area, I highly recommend this quaint little motor lodge. The receptionists both day and night are very sweet, very helpful and informative of the surroundings. The housekeepers are accommodating, also informative of the area and downright hilarious (we're looking at you, Penny!). The free breakfast wasn't bad either. When and where I can get free hot delicious waffles, I get them while I can. I also heard in the coming months they are getting new beds and TVs which is the only thing I can attest at times were not representing the highest in their technology currently, so I'm not going to knock them for that. You'll need a car in this area unless you like to walk like Moses or pay through the nose for taxis. If ever on God's green earth I am in Buffalo again overnight (which will not be likely), need to save some cash for other endeavors, and have a hankering for freshly hot waffles, I shall safely place my reservation here.

Our heater wasn't working & the room was chilly. Told staff @the front desk & a maintenance man came within 2 minutes. The heater needed a new part & so we were moved to a different room immediately. Very pleased with such a fast response.

“Not the top of the line but very good for it's age”

This may not be where you would take your family to but travelling with my brother it was perfect. Yes we would stay there again and recommend it as is.

“Good hotel at cheap price”

Hotel is located within 25 miles ( approx 30 mins drive) from Niagara Falls. Breakfast was good. Our room carpet was old, ruggish and appeared dirty. Room comfort was good. Staying for 1 or 2 nights would not be a problem. Overall a good hotel if you compare the price with others.

“nice old inn”

beautiful lobby area, nice history lesson. the inn was very convenient to the village and shopping in williamsville. nice lay out and even tho it was near the freeway it was very quiet. the inn itself needs some updating. the doors are very sticky (makes noise when opened/colsed) and the faucets need help. other than that it was a nice place; good breakfast area and fair breakfast.

The hotel was a good value for the money and the Sonoma restaurant next door was excellent (a real surprise.)
