It's ok

I personally like the regular Red Roof Inn better. I thought being RedRoof plus I would see more amenities. I guess I wrong. I noticed a big difference between this place and the one in Binghamton. I didn't even get a coffee machine. The staff were friendly.

Nice location, needs modernization!!!

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Close to the University at Buffalo. Convenient to visit my son.
Cons: Modernization!!! It feels like you are in third world country!
Location: Great location!!!
The location is close to the University at Buffalo, and other attractions and shopping mall for my son's needs for school. The hotel needs modernization to compete with other hotels in the area. There was no toilet paper. The rooms need to be a cleaner. Very confining feeling, in rooms. The staff are marvelous though!!!

Nothing unusual, but well kept.

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: General cleanliness.
Cons: In winter, one treks in a lot of snow. They should have provided some kind of mats for the snow. Snow around room entrance could have been cleared.
Location: location was good, not many eating places near by. may be a map or directions to eating places nearby.
I was disappointed with the dismal breakfast content. There was just coffee and something available 24-hours. Other hotels nearby have continental breakfasts or hot breakfast available, even for a charge.

Pleased with this hotel

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Pros: The price and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: Possibly supply a hair dryer
Location: Location in Amherst was close to everything we needed. Only about fifteen minutes from the falls.
My first time at this Red Roof location. Staff was very pleasant. More than happy to accomodate us. They even called our room after we settled in, to make sure everything was ok. Everything was quite clean. The cost was great. Will definitely go there again.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Noticeable buzzing noises, can be heard inside the hotel room and it's irritating.

OK but wheelchair accessible room request missed.

Posted Dec 20, 2014
Pros: Close to freeway and lots of choice reqarding places to eat. Pub right across the road was excellent.
Room was fine but the hotel missed my request for a wheelchair accessible room and none were available. Arriving early evening on the eve of a Bills game we had no choice but to stay and make due. Bathroom was closet sized - not good for someone requiring wheelchair access.

Room condition unacceptable

Posted Dec 16, 2014
The room was very dusty, the bedspread had stains, the shower drain was clogged and the water did not drain. Finally there were ANTS in the bathroom. This was all in the second room after we asked to be moved from our first room because of stains on the floor. Very disappointed.
