“Excellent Value”

My family was in Buffalo for a weekend shopping trip (taking advantage of the strong CDN$) and booked this hotel last minute on Expedia. I had reasonable expectations but was extremely impressed by the location, cleanliness, and above all EXCELLENT service the Residence Inn Amherst offered. The front desk staff provided a friendly welcome and were very helpful in recommending shopping and restaurant options near-by.

great all the way around. The only problem was the sheets were not changed before the bed was made up however the housekeeper was close by and I asked for them to be changed and she did promptly with no problem.

Very Impressed, am planning on staying here again in a couple of months.

The hotel is pretty and the room well appointed. Reception upon arrival was efficient; a smile could have made it pleasant. The room was very clean when we first arrived but we had to wait until approximately 4 pm to have it done the next day. Even at that, the garbage was not thrown out and the only 2 glasses available were just put in the dishwasher we had to wash them ourselves if we needed to use them on the second night The hotel ran out of clean towels and they were finally delivered at around 6 pm. The breakfast is good but the seating is very limited if you arrive after 7:45 am. On the second morning, we went to eat breakfast somewhere else.
