Avi one night stayPosted Jun 17, 2015
We had never been to Avi casino. We decided for a one night trip there for her birthday. I used EXPEDIA and got a reasonable rate, which we later found out was not by far the lowest. Upon arrival we could not find signs for registration parking but plenty for valet parking. I never use valet parking. That being the case I left the car and let her guard it while I registered. The temperature was well over 108 and there she sat, waiting. Luckily it did not take long to register and we quickly got to our room. The casino has plenty of eateries and fast food joints and amazingly the gift shop unlike other casinos does not overpriced. This was refreshing. The help(bartenders, waitresses and floor persons) were friendly and helpful. We had a good time and won some money. videowillie

Nice location.Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: The view of the beach made for a nice picture.
Cons: Upgrade the rooms.
Location: On the Colorado River. Jet ski, water sports
I chose this hotel because it was advertised as family friendly, had a beach and a nice pool. But I didn't like it. The carpets in the hall ways were worn out and dirty. The room was cheap, it felt like motel six. No view. The beach was overrun by people not staying at the hotel. The pool seemed smaller then as advertised in the pictures. Teenagers or young adults in the halls and on the elevators were yelling profanities just for their own amusement. I paid almost three times what a room would cost on the strip in Laughlin. The next night we stayed at Harrah's which was much, much nicer. Sand bar trash, that's Avi Resort.

Clean and comfortablePosted Jun 3, 2015
A free breakfast buffet would've been nice, and a small refrigerator in the room would be nice, AC cycled on /off all night.
