favorite hotel in Laughlin

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness and friendly atmosphere - promotional meals always welcomed
Cons: Missed seeing Pat O'Brian last visit - may be he has moved on. Missed his fun music.
Tropicana is our favorite 'home' in Laughlin...very friendly staff and happy feeling. The beds are the most comfortable of any hotel stays during our vacations.

Good but dated

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Cons: Shower pressure
Make sure if you don't have kids u avoid the promenade tower. Clerk at check in said she was giving me a room w pool view got a view of loading dock. Ppl go out to smoke and you hear it loud in your room. Make sure you get renovated room. Others are so dated.

Last minute pit stop on way to Vegas

Posted Dec 6, 2014
If your not picky this is a nice place. It's a bit dated, but clean. Staff is wonderful. I broke even at the casino and getting drinks at the machines is a bit of a challenge on a slow day. Tip the server well the first time and you will be on their radar for drinks all night.

Big Big Big HOTEL

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: CLEAN & PRICED RIGHT OVER THE HOLIDAY
Cons: IN OUR ROOM, THE LAMPSHADE WAS PRETTY BEAT UP & IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE IN THE ROOM
Location: THE HOTEL IS LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE RIVER. THERE IS GAMBLING, SHOWS, SHOPPING & BULLHEAD CITY ACROSS THE BRIDGE/RIVER.
WE STAYED IN THE TOWER - THIS IS A HUGE COMPLEX. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN - ITS QUITE A WALK OUT OF THE HOTEL TO THE STRIP. THE PARKING LOT IS HUGE! THE FOOD WAS OK. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT!

The Main Casino area was full of cigarette smoke that it crossed over to the non-smoking area, but otherwise a fun place. Miss not having coffee in the room.

Thanksgiving holiday week

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Gaming was fun the food and drinks are great the cigar smoke was a little intense but the rear casino floor is the non smoking area is ok
Location: Hotel is centrally located walking distance shopping, Gas, subway and my California Favorite In N' Out burger next door is a plus.
Great Hotel no problems in town for little Gaming family trip and visiting the River. Check in was a little long but expected due to the holiday week but it moved OK. Its walking distance to most hotels.... in the Morning i even took a little run towards the very end of the Strip towards the Harrha's Hotel and back that small hill is great for little exercise.
