“Great service, will surely go back.”

The Tropicana is a very nice motel/casino. Service is great, and the food is good also. Nice machines.

“no room service”

There was no room service, not even coffee available. I had booked at Harrahs' but changed my reservation to meet up with friends. I wished I had'nt. Also the TV reception and cable availability was poor. The rooms did not look like the ones on the Expedia website.

“Excellent Service”

The Front Desk Receptionist was friendly and was careful to have the two rooms we reserved were next to each other. I didn't feel at all rushed although it was a busy Friday.

“Food prices reasonable, especially a shop inside who sells coffee & sweetbreads”

this hotel was a confortable place.beds great, food reasonable prices, keep me from travel out of buildiing to find a inexpensive restaurant to eat at. Really like the little coffee shop and the "breakfast of champions" (donuts/rolls/sweetbreads/breakfast sandwiches. Working girl on the run.

“we got crapy room”

It is friendly Hotel, but we got a bad room: the door did not close shut, the toilet did not work, the water from the sink did not go down the drain, the internet modem in the room did not work (there was no stuff available to fix it). Food at the restaurant was poorly prepared.

“JACUZZI SUITE”

WE BOOKED RESORT ROOM AT TROPICANA and asked for upgrade when we were checking in and only had to add $30 for three nights to upgrade to jacuzzi suite on the highest 24th floor with AN AMAZING VIEW! Room is so amazing with huge jetted tub very romantic and spacious but u cannot book it with expedia you have to call tropicana to reserve it. I suggest doing what we did booking regular or resort room and asking for upgrade. When we called tropicana and wanted to book jacuzzi suite they gave us an outrageous price, but it turned out to be waaaaay cheaper because we were already there with a room booked and just asked for upgrade. Perfect for romantic getaway, on and by the way they had a nice flat screen TV about 48 inch however when we stayed at jacuzzi suite at tropicana in september 2011 (few months earlier) they didnt have a flat screen, tv was pretty bad, so i dont know if they have updated in past few months or some rooms have flat screens.

“Average”

Good location on the strip. But in the room there is no microwave or mini fridge. Also the internet did not work. There is no room service. Upside is the cheap cost and friendly staff.

“Great experience -”

Hotel room was comfortable and I was upgraded to a disabled person's room at no xtra charge - room was really nice and clean and hotel is conveniently located on the main strip - I was always able to find parking in the garage and they had security driving around so we always felt safe too - overall a nice experience and I would recommend to family and friends and stay there again too!

“Tropicana is very accomidating of your needs”

I have no complaints of this hotel at all. I met a couple friends from different stated there and even though we all arrived on different days and were placed on different floors they were more then willing to put are rooms together. The rooms are clean, a bit out dated, but over all there are no complaints. If you are looking for a five star hotel then pay for a five star hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable place for a reasonable amount that is willing to bend over backwards for your comfort then this is the place.

Area recommendations

The clubs in this town are ok. That is primarily what we were there for. We had a Club inferno and losers lounge are definitely the best that is offered though
