Unfortunately, over the year gone downhill. We been going annually for 14 years and got worst over time. The place is falling apart.

Clean spacious and comfortable King room, beautiful views over the garden and pool Area. Very friendly staff and the dining room was exceptional in service and hospitality. Our meal was faultless, just beautiful. Highly recommend

The property was very nice, clean, tidy and had good amenities. The bed was not comfortable for my personal preference (too firm) and the phone/internet connection was terrible.

Check in service great but one of barmen always grumpy and rude. No maintain to rooms. We are regularly go every Feb but getting worst and thinking going else where for golf and room

Rooms are old but fine, the golfing is not for someone that wants to have fun. The arrogant staff will make sure of that. Dont expect to be served a drink ahead of the locals even if you have been waiting age's. Definitely wouldnt come back to play golf or recommend it

The grounds were clean and maintained well. Service from every member of staff, including groundkeepers/maintenance was polite and friendly, they couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was memorable. Our meals were excellent and the portions generous. Waitstaff helpful and knowledgeable. All in all I would recommend The Sanctuary to anyone who loves old-fashioned service. Well done!

Great place to stay for a night or 2. The golf course and pool facilities are great. The lounge furniture is a bit old and uncomfortable. We had the floodlight from the pool shining into our bedroom until 12am which was slightly annoying.

For the price, the room was nothing special but it was adequate for our one night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room did not overlook the course (many don't) but it did open out to a lovely garden.

The surrounding views of golf course beautiful. So peaceful. Would be nice to be transferred to room in maybe a golf buggy particularly when a person on crutches or disabled. A long walk to our room. Thank god for the employee offering to carry our cases. A big thank you

The property exceeded expectations and we were very happy with all aspects. Our group included a number of teenage boys and they were given access to the driving range for free.

The shower is in the bath. Found it difficult to get in and out of the shower. Shower tap washers need replacing. Constant dripping. Otherwise the room suited our needs.

Staff communication & cleanliness were fine. Pool area lovely. But the rooms are so outdated and nothing you would expect from a golf resort and the cost of $265p/n. The beds were the worst! Rockhard and so uncomfortable. Unfortunately I won't stay there again until it has undergone an overdue renovation.

The resort was off the beaten track and quiet at night. The resort atmosphere was nice. What we didn’t like: the room is in need of some TLC e.g. the dripping tap needs fixing; the curtains don’t close completely etc.

Our stay at the Mercure Bunbury.
I was surprised that we had to walk a fair distance to our room. Knowing that I asked to be upgraded to another room which was close to parking. Some of their units are a great walking distance from parking so be aware when booking with them. If you are an able person that's great but for the elderly I would not recommend they stay there. The hotel is actually on the edge of the golf course so beautiful. I paid an additional $120.00 for an upgrade.
