The noise in the atrium lobby bar was loud and disturbing until 11:30 at night. It easily filtered to my room, which was also also in the atrium area. Definitely a dealbreaker. otherwise, would definitely consider staying there again.

We chose this hotel due to the close proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood and it truly was a quick 12 minute drive! They offer a free shuttle, which we decided not to take just due to the uncertainty of our plans. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The only challenge with this hotel is the noise. If you have small children just be aware that the bar downstairs doesn’t close until 10pm, which may interfere with bedtime. All of the rooms are close to the open concept lobby/bar, so you can hear everything from your room. We placed a towel under our door but didn’t help much. One other thing I didn’t love was the lack of extra locks on the hotel room doors. The only lock the room had was the bolt above the handle. Very unusual for a hotel room. Other than that it is a good place if you want to be close to Universal.
