Clean and Comfortable

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, spacious room (second floor, corner). Rates were fine.
Stayed two nights and even though there was a statewide bowling tournament in town and the hotel was full, nouse was never a problem. The corner room was spacious and clean and the beds were so e of the most comfortable for a hotel that I've ever experienced. We would definitely stay again.

Okay for One Night Stay

Posted Apr 28, 2014
We needed a place for one night on our road trip. Booked this on the mobile phone on our way through, and the options were few in this area. We picked the Best Western, and were generally pleased. It's clean enough, but don't expect anything great. The check-in took a few minutes although we had already booked online, but really nothing to complain about. Room was clean. Not sure if there was a workout facility on-site, but we are runners and we found the parking lot and wide sidewalk in front of the hotel to be a nice, safe place for a short run. The continental breakfast was not very good; would rather have had McDonalds across the street, but it was free, so it was okay. Good value for the money. Would recommend this place as a good cheaper hotel and a short stay.

We stayed in Mt. Pleasant, IA. because we were attending a family wedding. This hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent! Couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you

Business Trip

Pros: Staff was courteous but not overly freindly.
Very thin walls and cheap construction made it a bit noisy at times.

Great hotel for under $70!

Posted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: The room size and pool.
Cons: Beds need updated.
Location: We were only there for soccer tournament so location was fine.
We had the 3 queen bed room. One bed kind of sunk in the middle but perfect for teenage son. We were on 1st floor and people above us were so loud, jumping and running across floor. We put up with it until 10, called the front desk and the stomping stopped almost immediately. We will be back for the next Burlington soccer tournament staying here.

Busy weekend!

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Dog friendly!
Cons: Breakfast
Location: For this stay it was the famous Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. Wonderful event!
We were happy to find a room in Mt. Pleasant over the busy Old Threshers/Labor Day weekend. The rate was a bit high but it was great to be able to see family.
