Very clean and nice but noisyPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Very clean and friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Insulation between the floors to eliminate the noise in the floors above.
Location: It is right off I-70. Bonny Lake State Park is near by and the county fairgrounds has the historic carousel.
Apparently the hotel is made cheaply because I woke at 5:30 to people just walking around on the floor above me. Then I really hear the children running and giggling above us. If it were well made I wouldn't have heard that. The Burlington I-70 hotel is very clean and nice, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is much better than I have found in other hotels. You can't drink the water there so they provide you bottled water. You have a microwave and frig in your room. Very comfortable bed. Just wish the floors were better insulated for noise.

Easy check-in and check-out. Staff at desk were very courteous and helpful. We were given AARP discount when we checked in, which we appreciated. Nice, clean room with extras (shampoo, etc.), plenty of towels.

1st Time StayPosted Jan 20, 2014
We stop in Burlington when going to pick up our grandchildren and again when we take them home. The hotel where we normally stay had no rooms. Best Western had a room with a pull out sofa that worked better than the roll away bed we usually had to crowd in the room at the other hotel. They also had a snack time in the evening as well as the free breakfast. The grandkids loved the pool and the staff was very friendly. It also had a gift shop. The rooms were clean snd the beds very comfortable. We will now be staying at Best Western from now on!

Overall very good place kid-friendlyPosted Jan 9, 2014
A good Best Western experience. The only thing: it would be nice to have a ice machine in every floor.

A great stop along the highwayPosted Jul 10, 2013
Pros: It's fresh and well kept. The staff was pleasing and friendly.
Location: Don't miss the 100+ year old Burlington carousel, for which the property is named and around which the decor was framed. Only 25-cents and worth it.
This is a lovely, fresh-looking property. The room, staff, common areas, and overall were definitely above-average. Any traveler should consider this as a good stop, whether along the way or when staying in this town.

I won't stay there again!Posted Apr 14, 2012
The walls of the hotel are paper thin. I could hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms, even though the other occupants were not being especially noisy. There was a lot of truck noise on the highway just outside the hotel, and it lasted all night long. The hotel staff was rude.
