Went to visit our friend who goes to Boston University for school on very short notice. This place was only about a 20 minute drive from the campus, which was very reasonable. If only it was near public transportation to get into the city because parking near Boston University is terrible.

Another great stay!

We always stay at the Candlewood whenever we visit Boston as it is in a great position for accessing a number of highways. The facilities are brilliant, big comfy beds, a kitchenette, a free laundry room and free coffee 24 hours a day. Staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Overall a superb place to stay.

A little hard to find as the address is for a road you can't directly access the hotel from.

Pros: Good business setup in room- plugs, chair, table, internet access.
Cons: I only wished for a complimentary breakfast.

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a little dated, but the size of the room was great. The availability of a kitchen en suite was useful. It was across the street from an indoor mall and a very short distance off the highway which made it convenient to hop on in order to go to Lexington & Concord which was a very short distance away. I would stay there again.

shower head awful

The hotel itself was much further from Boston University than I was lead to believe in advertising. There was no clear entrance to the hotel and had it not been for the fact that I could see it up on the hill I would have passed it right by. It took me several tries to find the entrance which happened mostly by chance. The worst part of my stay, however, was the shower head. I assume it is a water saving device but not only was it ineffective in its use it somewhat stung no matter what the setting. For this reason alone I would not stay in this hotel again.

Better place for extended stay.

Only stayed one night but the place was designed for extended stays. No breakfast by Lots of options.

Very hard to find and when we called for directions the person answering the phone didn't know how to tell us to get there. The room had this huge recliner on one side of the bed that was torn and tattered. We had to move it in order to get to the bed. Weird!
